I wish I could share some amazing DIY project with you today, but alas our weekend flew by and was packed with I don’t know what! Do you ever have people ask you what you did over the weekend and you just stare at them without remembering a darn thing you did? But you know you were busy and had a great weekend. . . it’s just that you draw a blank. Please tell me I am not the only one who does this. We enjoyed a nice weekend with friends and family. Most of all, we enjoyed sitting around our tree and taking after dinner walks around the neighborhood to check out all of the lights. I will be back tomorrow to show you our tree. It’s full of color this year. No big surprise. In case you have missed the Christmas decorating updates so far I have shared our kitchen wreaths, the bright and merry mantel and a DIY ornament topiary. Click on any of the photos below to see the post. Have a great start to your week!

Yes, yes, yes – happens way too often for me! 🙂
I keep a journal and just stare at the page trying to think of something to write…..

Yes, I know that feeling all too well. Glad you had a nice weekend and if it helps, you are way ahead of me in everything!

I have weekends like that all the time! All I really remember about this past weekend is eating too many Junior Mints and watching Elf. 😉

Yes that happens to me all the time too! I blame it on the kids – our life is a blur right now! And I wouldn't have it any other way….I know you wouldn't either 🙂

I know that feeling. Glad you had a nice weekend and so fun that you took a walk to check out all of the holidays lights. I love to do that in the evening.
I am so far behind on everything lately….can't wait to see your colorful tree. Still working on ours.
