What I Wore On Date Night: New Year’s Eve

December 31, 2013 by Courtney 17 Comments

Happy New Year’s Eve! We are ready to ring in the new year! If you have been following my blog for some time, than  you know that my husband and I go on regular date nights. Above all else, I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that putting your marriage first is of the utmost importance. I really do. This world is hectic, crazy, demanding and oh so overwhelming. We have vowed to make sure that our time each week is sacred. Whether we go or stay in, we are dedicated to spending uninterrupted time with one another. I think it’s crucial that every busy woman out there take time to slow down, feel beautiful and be her true self. Whether that is tossing on a comfy pair of yoga pants or slipping into a sexy pair of heels . . .it’s your beauty to find and feel. My beauty wears heels. That is where I feel alive and pretty. Whatever yours is, take the time to find it. Happy New Year’s to all of you. itsadatenye   mkhandbag   heels datenightnye       heelsclose balloonback Outfit Details:  Skirt //  heels // similar handbag // watch // top This is the most comfortable skirt I have ever owned. And I sort of love it. Most comfortable pair of sexy heels I own as well. Cheers to a new year and cheers to taking the time to feel beautiful. No matter what that means to you. So thankful for all of you and so excited for fun things in store on this blog this coming year. Wishing you all a safe and beautiful New Year’s Eve. We did date night last night and will be celebrating with the kiddos tonight!

I couldn't agree more. With a one year old we've found it's harder to have date night. Before Noah was born we used to go out all the time. So for Christmas I gave my husband "a year of dates" to guarantee we have a date just the two of us each month (I hope more). Thankfully I have my mom to babysit :). Happy New Years!

Having been married 25 years, I could not agree more. It does not need to be anything elaborate. Most of ours were spent doing something together at home. It is the one thing that kept us from going crazy when our baby girl left the nest last year for college leaving just the two of us. Now every night is a date night! Happy New Year Courtney. Many blessings for you and the family.

You are sooo adorable! I love how committed you are to date nights. Our date nights are a little nontraditional over here right now, but I still love them!
