Hi, all. Thank you for the sweet comments about my nightstand styling and the watercolor prints! Today I am kicking off a fun series called, “What’s Your Fashion Snapshot?” There is no doubt that fashion and design influence one another. While the two have gone hand in hand since the beginning of time, we don’t always think to look at our own style and see how it might reflect in our design choices. I am constantly talking with friends and acquaintances who say they need help putting their spaces together. What strikes me often times, is the way in which they dress often speaks to how they see their spaces being designed. I decided to test this theory. I took a couple snapshots of an outfit that I am most “me” in. While my mood often dictates what I wear, the look below is very indicative of my style and what I feel good in. I have pinned this exact look on my Pinterest Fashion Board. So after snapping the photo, I chose three words to describe my fashion style. 
classic. glam. easy I love classic pieces. I love a crisp navy blazer but it needs to have the glam gold buttons. I love an easy pair of white pants, but they need to fit well and be paired with a sexy pair of heels. The stripes are classic and the jewelry gives the look a more current feel. Classic. Glam. Easy. That best describes my fashion snapshot. 
rug | pillows | ottoman | sconces | drapes | chest I put together some pieces for a dream room that reflect my style and those same three words. Classic. Glam. Easy. The two really are the same. In looking around my home, I do feel like most spaces embody those same words. At least, I hope they do! Our homes should be an extension of ourselves and exude our same style. The snapshot taken below is in my master bedroom which I would also describe as classic, glam, and easy.

So fun! I love this outfit and often wear something similar in the fall and spring. Unfortunately now I'm often in sweat pants, but a blazer, jeans, and fun necklace are my go to when going out to dinner 🙂

Classic, easy and pretty…my style, like in my photo. I wear Nike and swets only for the gym, not my regular wear, lol! I love classic pieces for my home decor too! I love your post pretty lady!
