What’s Your Fashion Snapshot, Chic Coastal Living?

While I am hard at work over at the HomeGoods Bedroom Makeover, my sweet friend, Desiree, from Chic Coastal Living,  is holding down the fort. Um. One word. Gorgeous. This lovely lady is nothing but glamour. She is just so sweet and she and I have been blog friends for years. I adore her coastal style and her blog is a daily source of inspiration for me. I am very honored to have Desiree sharing her Fashion Snapshot with you all today.
 
Hi everyone! I’m Desiree from Chic Coastal Living and three words I would use to describe my style would be
 
… BEACH, CHIC, and CASUAL.
 
Although, my blog started as a home design blog over four years ago, I’ve always incorporated chic vacation looks even from the beginning. Easy stylish pieces for the home and my wardrobe are fun for me to put together. Resort style maxi dresses, denim shorts and sandals are what I feel most comfortable in, but I do love dressing up in sleek dresses and strappy high heels for special occasions.
 
 
 
When it comes to home design, I love the idea of making my home feel like I’m on vacation. Below is a mode board I recently shared on my blog to use as a future reference when I redesign my home this year. I love my pool area and want to create a super stylish, casual space to enjoy with my family and friends. Teak outdoor furniture, straw baskets for beach towels and island scented candles are on my redesign wishlist.
 

Stripes! I can’t get enough of them! I bought four striped dresses this weekend and will take them with me to Maine this summer. I also love pops of color and anything neon. Oh and straw bags.
