Super excited to kick off our first guest blogger for, “What’s Your Fashion Snapshot?” I have always been intrigued with the fashion to design connection and there is no question that our homes tend to reflect our own fashion sense. I am so very excited to introduce Natasha, the author of Schue Love. While most of you already know her, those of you who do not will fall in love when you meet her. Natasha and I share a special bond and I only wish she lived closer so we could see each other more. Without further ado, I turn if over to Natasha. . .
……
Hello there! I’m Natasha from Schue Love and I’m so happy Courtney asked me to be here today! Courtney is one of my favorite people ever…so naturally, I am super happy to be here today!
When I was asked to think about how my personal style compliments my design style, I took a look around my house and wondered if I really had a “style”. I’m drawn to traditional investment pieces {like a couch or headboard} but love mixing it with more eclectic accents. I change those accents often as trends change and really, my fashion sense is no different. I love investing in quality denim, shoes and handbags and will then spritz in a fun scarf or statement necklace to make it current.
I LOVE mixing and matching patterns {as you can see from my Instagram photos above!}. You can often find me in my leopard flats and a fun patterned top and scarf. If I had to sum my style up in three words it would be…
fun. eclectic. girly
And if you’re curious how this all translates to decor, check out my mood board below:

I lurve me some leopard, stripes, gold or brass accents, and a fun pop of color…which is exactly how I love to dress.
And to keep it real, here’s a shot of me in my master bedroom. As a mom to a rambunctious toddler, I often throw my hair up in a top knot and literally live in my leggings and scarves…especially this time of year. But you can also get a sense of my master bedroom…there’s some leopard {natch!}, my Mongolian pillow, and a pop of color. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect headboard!
Thanks to Courtney for having me today…and feel free to stop by! I’d love to have you! 🙂

Yes! Fun. Eclectic. Girly. That so perfectly describes Natasha’s style. I couldn’t agree more. Be sure to pop over to Schue Love and say hello. The girl’s got mad style and one of my favorite things about her blog are her amazing recipes. In fact I am making this for my family this week! So delicious.
