I am back today with the second week of Just Four Things. If you are just popping in to my blog for the first time, I normally chose readers’ spaces to transform with just four things. Each Wednesday, I gave you all a choice of two different items to help our client with their space. You can see the reveal of the last installment here. This time it’s my space! We are doing a little overhaul of our master bathroom with just four things to give it more sophistication and charm. ……………………………………..master bathroom Here is a reminder of what I am working with: Last week I gave you a choice of two countertops. The overwhelming majority chose the Cambria Quarts {Torquay} ……………………………………..framing the mirror This week we are focusing on the rather boring builder grade mirror that we are sporting. I would love to add a frame to it to add a little more elegance and a more finished feel. I am a big fan of Mirror Mate and plan to use one of their frames. Here are some more photos of the space. Here is a view showing the top of the mirror I am planning to change the following four things: Countertops Frame the Mirror Lighting Faucets Here is a little mood board of what is already going on in the space so you can get a better idea of what will be staying. …………………………….…here’s what’s staying This week’s Which One Wednesday is all about framing out the mirror. I have narrowed it down to two choices. Please weigh in with which one you would go with. Here are two different styles from Mirror Mate: Mirror Frame Choice #1
If you were designing this makeover, would you go with the dressier feel of number one or gravitate towards the simplicity of number two? I want to know! {Size wise. . . they are relatively the same} So cast your vote! Please leave a comment telling me whether you would go with choice #1 or choice #2!

I love number #2!! But it was a very hard choice!!
Rachel says
I would choose #1 – I think it will make the whole bathroom look so elegant!
Katie says
#2!
René says
Oh this is such a fun series! Love those jeans cute girl!
Peggy says
I would choose #1. You need a little WOW and that framing around the mirror woould give it to you.
Gretchen says
#2 It'll go with any style.
{Hi Sugarplum!} says
I don't think you could go wrong with either! I've worked with Mirror Mate before, it's a pretty cool system!

#2!!!
Big D and Me says
Normally I would say #2 but I think in this space a little extra detail would be grear so I'm going with #1
Simply LKJ says
Love #2! And, you will be amazed at the difference the frame makes. We had ours done (our downstairs bath was framed when we bought the house, but the upstairs were not). I had our cabinet guy make ours custom to make the downstairs, and then had them painted. It made all the difference in the word. Ours were chunky, so it did "shorten" the mirror a bit. Took a little getting used to, but we love them none the less.
Tara {The Silver Lining} says
#2! I like the simple clean look of it!
Andrea B. says
I love the simplicity of #2. But both are beautiful!
Kathleen says
I'm voting for #2! I love how its so classic and elegant.

I love the idea of mirror mate! Both choices are fantastic.
SavvySurfer says
I think either would work, but agree with Peggy – a little WOW to match the chandelier!

I think I'd go for #2, but I like #1 too. Sorry! I'm not very helpful…. Sarah

#2
Kellie Brown says
#2! I like the simplicity. 🙂
Bonnie_Projects says
#1, so pretty in the space!!
Michaela says
Let's see…either would be great, but I think #2 will be best for the long run. It'll always be classic and simple!
Lil Mama Stuart says
#2!

I love the simplicity of the 2nd option!
natasha {schue love} says
I like #2…but I always seem to gravitate to more of the safe {perhaps boring!} choice! I don't think you could go wrong either way!
Jen says
#2!
Jessica B. says
#2 and then you can jazz it up with some fancy lighting. 🙂 I love how easy it is to make choices for OTHER people, rather than my own space. 🙂
home-with-heather says
Wow Courtney-they are both gorgeous…do I have to choose? I am really liking number one! Either way, SO SUPER excited to see this bathroom transformation:)
Jo Ann says
I love #1- adds a little more drama to the space.
Lori says
Choice 1 – it's beautiful!
Heather @ my peanut butter cups says
I love this series–LOVE! This is so hard because I think so much depends on how you change out that lighting above…both are beautiful choices…but I lean towards choice #1. 🙂
K says
Choice 1!
Lisa Ferraro says
At first I thought #1 to match the chandelier, but considering the marble detail I'm now thinking #2. I agree with another post you can dress up with lighting and accessories.
Decorating the Ville says
Hard choice! But I think #1 would be a pretty bit of jewelry to dress up the space.
buildingthisnest says
I love the little bit of glam of #1, but #2 is a bit more versatile I think and if you decide to change the style of the bathroom down the road #2 is simple enough that it would go with most styles. I can't wait to see the options for lighting and the faucet!

Danna Miller says
Choice number 1, to add some pretty detail!

#2!
Carmel @ Our Fifth House says
I like #2. You can always bring in some dressy details with accessories.
Melissa says
I like #2.
Holly says
Here are my 2 cents: I love the detail on #1, but since I live with a frame like this already and have had to clean out dust mixed with hairspray/water/etc. I have to vote for #2. It's a pain to clean and is dirty by the following month.
Can't wait to see what you choose!! btw, the jeans are fab!
Linda H. says
I like #2 and the simplicity of it. I really want you to remove that builder mirror and put up a cool framed smaller mirror. Because then I can show my DH. He's convinced that our GINORMOUS mirror is glued to the wall and will make a ginormous mess with the dywall. I'm convinced that it is merely sitting in the cute little channel thingy on the bottom and just those little plastic thingies are holding it on the top.
Sooooo….. would you take one for team and prove me RIGHT????
Megan {Honey We're Home} says
I like #2, but that's very similar to what we have in our bathroom. I just wish they didn't put the frame right on the backslash- I think the mirror would've looked better a few inches higher- ug! Here's the link if you want to see what I mean. http://honeywerehome.blogspot.com/2012/06/our-master-bathroom.html
That being said, I also like #1- doesn't it kinda go with the large mirror in your bedroom??

I like No. 2 because of the clean lines. Although, I am biased because I have mirrors with a similar moulding in my family bathroom. It will echo the nice crown molding you already have in your master bath. Can't wait to see the faucet choices!

I like choice #1. It would really dress the room up.
Heidi @Budget Wise Home says
Oh this is a hard choice. I really love both of them. I guess it depends on the overall look you're going for. I love the detail in #1. It would add some glamor to the space.
