You may remember that a while back I ordered a Ballard Inspired Bench from K-Mart. Yes, K-Mart. I instantly fell in love with the look and the price. And seeing that we have two small children who manage to leave their mark on quite a few things, it seemed the way to go. I loved the color, the tufted top, the ample storage, and the nail head trim. The only thing I didn’t love were the white feet. It’s taken me . . .oh, just a few months to whip out a can of spray paint, but I finally did it. I love the new look of the feet and it resembles the Ballard Amelia Bench even more now. Here is what I started with: And here is the bench with its new darker feet: One of my readers had recommended this spray paint in Espresso. It is just the perfect shade. A found a couple of fun green accent pieces for the room. The cute coasters are from Pier 1 Imports and the little green dish is from Michael’s dollar section. And I posted about my new green pillow here. I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Other than my five minute spray paint project, we relaxed and spent time with family and friends. I would love to hear about any projects you checked off the list!
