Big Boy Room Reveal

January 23, 2012 by Courtney 93 Comments

All in good time. That is the theme around here. I am thrilled to be showing you our son’s big boy room reveal in it’s entirety. For those of you who have been along for the ride for quite some time, then you have seen the many projects along the way. The very last project was the wall behind the bed. ……………………a big boy room   IMG_7037 When I stumbled upon a vinyl tree decal that not only incorporated nature, but the room colors as well I was ecstatic. Even better, my son was able to help me place all the leaves and birds on the wall. As with most elements in the room, the tree also holds special meaning for us. We lost a very dear member of our family recently. The fifth bird that is mid air reminds us of the bird that flew away. First off, Love The Room!! Two questions, where did you get the curtains? If you made them where did you find the fabric? And secondly, I'm loving the toy closet. Did you find you didn't need the closet space for your son's clothes? I don't use my son's closet for two many clothes other than button down shirts. I've been 'toying' (no pun intended) with the idea of doing something similar for quite some time. How is it working out for you?
