I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We were outside enjoying the 80 degree weather. We even taught our daughter to ride her bike without training wheels. Such a fun and proud moment as parents. And to say we are sore and tired from racing behind her arched over so she wouldn’t fall is a huge understatement! Yowzers. I also started a new project in the bonus room. I decided a great way to lighten up the focal wall would be to use stripes. So the taping has begun and today I am off to grab the paint I need. I will be back at the end of the week to show you the competed project. But for now, this is what we are looking at …………………………………….. painting stripes Oh, and you can see I switched out the red drapes for white ones. Plan to add some trim or detail of some kind but have yet to stumble upon the right thing.

I love stripes! I have done them a few times in a few places I have lived. I did a argyle pattern once. I will stick to stripes. I can't wait to see the completed project.
