Cheap and Easy Artwork

So I am one of those people who has very little patience when it comes to decorating. If I need a piece of artwork, I need it RIGHT NOW!  So after re-doing our master bedroom I noticed a blank spot on our wall. Operation Cheap and Easy Artwork!!! I have a love affair with numbers so I printed out the childrens’ birth dates. I used just the day of the month and than typed out their names and brithdate underneath. I had already found the mirrored frames from Aaron Brothers. Nothing like a little glam plus free art! What do you do when you need artwork in a pinch? Would love to hear.

What a great idea. I framed pictures from a lovely illustrated storybook for my son's nursery- but I love the glamour of this idea. Your bedroom windows look kinda like ours, with shutters. How do you like the drapes with them? We just got our shutters last week and I am wondering what to do to that wall with art and drapes or leave as-is, but it looks a little bare.

Your son's nursery is beyond dreamy. I absolutely love it. I love the shutters in the house and in most rooms leave them as is. I used the silk panels in the master to soften and add some interest. The rods are actually towel bars that I fell in love with. They are nice and short so it is striclty decorative. For us, a rod all the way across would have been way too much rod. Can't wait to see what you decide to do.

Hi Renae! Thanks for visiting! I love that you have a 5/14 baby!!! I used the Engravers MT font (it is on my Publisher program . . wasn't anything special I added). Hope that helps. Have a wonderful Saturday!
