Easy Party Favors

May 14, 2012 by Courtney 18 Comments

Happy birthday to my sweet and wonderful little boy. Our son officially turns four today. We have had a whirlwind of celebrating and are so lucky to have Grandma visiting from Pennsylvania right now. On Friday, we had a birthday party for all of Grady’s little friends at a place called My Gym. It was fantastic He was in heaven and it was fun to see him surrounded by sweet smiling little ones. It’s always a challenge to think of party favors when the guest list ranges from two year olds to six year olds. So for this party, we handed out giant shovels {just in time for summer} and the makings for s’mores. IMG_9267 I have seen other s’more party favors floating around blogland here and here. When combined with the shovel, the tags read, “I really dig that you can to my party!  Hope you have s’more fun at home.” IMG_9275   The best part of the party, for me, was when my son was told to make a wish and he closed his eyes for a good ten seconds before blowing out his candles. If only I could have been inside his sweet little mind to know what he was wishing for. IMG_9359 favors grady_4 So very honored and blessed to be this little boy’s mommy. Happy Birthday, Little Man!

Aw, 4 already. He's adorable too. Great picture of the 3 of you. And the party favors are precious. I'd love to eat one (or ten) up.

He truly is a gift from God to all of us. I have two of his "tub" pictures enlarged and framed in my kitchen and they have brightened each day, no matter how tough that day was. Happy Birthday big four.

Happy Birthday to the Little Man! He is adorable and those big blue eyes!! Fun party favors. I love that he kept his eyes closed for 10 seconds while making his wish. A lot of thought went into that wish…so so cute.
