Fourth of July Mantel

July 3, 2012 by Courtney 17 Comments

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather and have been outside non-stop. But over the weekend, I decided to get a little bit festive on the inside of the house as well. I grabbed our “Fourth of July” bag from the garage and pulled out a few décor items. This is what I came up with. IMG_0203 I had picked up these windmills from Target last year and saved them. I popped them into the floral arrangement for added red, white and blue color. IMG_0202 IMG_0164IMG_0173IMG_0193 I had seen this darling print while on Pinterest from eighten25 and like it so much I made my own. This frame is always fun to open and change out because I keep all of the holiday printables piled up inside. Fun to see what has been on the mantel. The orchid in the little blue vase was just moved from a different spot to soften the edges of the frames.   IMG_0197IMG_0200 These are my trusty flameless candles and I like to wrap scrapbook paper around them to add some color. candle The banner was from Target last year and I finished off the mantel décor with a framed photo of our family taken on the 4th of July a couple of years ago. mantel happy 4th of july!

Where did you get that material that has the white dots and red background? You said that it came from scrapbook paper?
