Head Over Heels for a Mirror

December 1, 2010 by Courtney 22 Comments

Is it normal to be in love with a mirror? I have been eyeing convex mirrors lately. I was hoping to find one that resembled a starburst mirror but didn’t know where to start. Our upstairs hallway is begging for one. I really want to put a mirror right next to an archway we have. And then I found this. I think angels started to sing when I spotted it. IMG_8323 It is EXACTLY what I have been looking for . . . oh, how I love my HomeGoods. I threw myself on top of it and then ran to the check out counter. It was up in our hallway ten minutes later. IMG_8336 Our daughter’s room {with her pink Christmas tree} is at one end of the hallway, and our room is on the other end. IMG_8341IMG_8345 I am sure a little table would look great under it, but I am not sure there is enough room for one. Thank you for letting me gush about something like a mirror! Hope you are all having a great day. Have you had any fantastic finds lately? I will be back tomorrow with Megan from  Honey We’re Home  kicking off our Holiday Haven series! I can’t wait to hear what she has to say!

Ha I laughed at the idea of you throwing yourself on the mirror and running home. I must say it is a looker and it's completely normal to be in love with non-utilitarian objects. Happens all the time! 🙂

You are my twin girl! I've had my eye out for two convex mirrors for months now- for our living room. I loooove the post b/c we get to come inside and see your lovely hallway with a peek into the rooms. Really nice arch and molding!

I have been wanting a convex mirror for awhile but haven't found one yet. I so wish we had a Home Goods near us. It looks perfect in your hallway! Your daughter's pink tree is darling! I bet she is tickled having her own little tree to decorate. I'm also loving the color of your walls in your bedroom! It's a gorgeous color. It's fun to get a little peek.

That is stunning!!! A table would look nice there, maybe you could cut one down so it wouldn't be as deep?

Ha! Love it!! Can't wait for tomorrow. Not much been getting done around here…caught the bug the girls had. Finally starting to feel better. Needless to say, decorating got put on hold!

So beautiful! I adore those mirrors also. And since I'm nosey, I really want to see inside your daughters room and the master bedroom now!! They look great from the sneak peek from the hallway (:

I really like your gold mirror – I have one in silver but think yours might be even better.

It does look completely gorgeous…but what caught my eye is the tantalising glimpse of a completely beautiful room at the end of the hallway!
