Good morning. How was your weekend? This is the first year we really didn’t attend a big Super Bowl party. My daughter was working and my boys were traveling home from Ohio (hockey tournament). We all happened to arrive back home for the last ten minutes of the game. Kind of perfect, if you ask me. We are hitting the ground running this morning and hoping for a productive day. Here is a recap with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
MAIN STREET FRANKLIN
In the winter months, if the sun is out you will find me outside. And Downtown Franklin is one of my favorite places to do some shopping. With Evereve and Anthro just a few doors apart, it’s a great place to spend some time.
Best Selling Top
This top is back in stock and is soooooo good. It’s a bit of a splurge but so versatile. I ventured out with the pink (trying to add more color) but it also comes in black and white. I am wearing the small but may return it for the medium. Despite having a smaller frame, I have very broad shoulders and if you see below, it falls farther on her shoulders which I really like.
I really love the ruching on the side and the overall flattering cut. This top always sells out.
VALENTINE PLATES
If you are local, Hester & Cook in downtown Franklin has the most amazing party decor. The rosebud dishes and napkins are incredible. I also found these gingham and floral plates. So feminine and pretty.
I did find this incredible banner online. This is one that I would hang onto and use year after year. The print and colors are so beautiful.
TIME OUTSIDE
We love getting outside to hike or walk and Radnor Lake is one of our favorite spots around here. The walk around the lake is just shy of 3 miles and it’s truly beautiful. So peaceful. (Love these sunglasses)
Even in the dead of winter, it’s impressive. If you are ever visiting, I think this is a wonderful spot to put on your agenda. A nice juxtaposition from downtown Nashville.
CLEVER CLOSET
I shared this space in my newsletter last week (can sign up here) and I just think it’s such a brilliant use of space. I love the idea of drawers below and a rod hanging from an upper cabinet. I might borrow that idea for our laundry room one day (one day in the far and distant future). Mallory is incredibly talented. If you don’t already follow her, you can do so here.
KITCHEN DIMENSIONS
In a dream world, I would have someone reorganize my blog so things would be easier to find. But until then, I get many questions about the measurements in our kitchen. We definitely expanded walkways and other areas to make the flow better. If you are planning a kitchen remodel, I hope this measurement post is helpful.
PLANTER UPDATE
I have this Walmart planter in two sizes and love it. The small one sits on a coffee table (empty) but I have used this larger one for flowers. PLEASE put another glass inside of it. Mine leaked and I wanted you to know in case you have one as well. A mason jar with flowers set inside solves that problem.
If you missed this week’s Saturday Shopping you can check it out here.
How does your week look? I am hoping to photograph my closet to share this week. It’s nothing elaborate whatsoever but might have a couple of helpful tips. Just need the sun to come out! I hope you have a wonderful Monday.

I absolutely saved that closet pic from your newsletter and told my husband we would be doing that in our future laundry room! Such a great idea to not waste the space above a hanging rod. Also, I know those plates aren’t Target but for some reason when I saw those it reminded of your trips to Target with your mom. They just looked like something she would have loved.
