Monday Morning Wrap Up

Good morning. I can’t believe we are rolling into a holiday weekend. How is it almost July? It’s been a really great summer over here with the kids home. Everyone is in a nice rhythm so I would love for it to slow down. Riley and I have been having fun making plans for her room next year. I’ll have to share what we are thinking soon. Grab something warm to drink and let’s jump into the Monday Morning Wrap Up.

NEVER GETS OLD

A tad blurry but I’ll just never get over these tree lined streets. There is something about this area and these trees that just lets me exhale. While it may be toasty, it sure is beautiful.

DATE NIGHT

It’s safe to say the humidity doesn’t do my hair any favors. The second I walk out of the house the curls fall flat. Anyone else? But we had so much fun on our date night. Hit up Perry’s and then ice cream with live jazz music. There is something about live music outside during the summer that I can’t resist. And Jeni’s always pulls through with the yummy dairy free ice cream.

SET ON REPEAT

I have been wearing this Amazon set nonstop (on sale). It’s just so easy and you feel pulled together. It’s so comfy. And always wearing these sneakers (they go with everything).

ETCH AT THE FACTORY

On Friday night we celebrated my birthday with local friends. My husband reserved the private room at Etch. Highly recommend! It was fantastic. We could be as loud as we wanted . . . my cheeks still hurt from laughing . . and we weren’t disturbing anyone. The service was wonderful and so was the food.

FOURTH OF JULY READY

These Amazon finds rounded out readers’ top picks. You can shop them all here. I just ordered the clear boxes (to organize my junk drawer and bathroom drawers) and extra dehumidifier bags for our closets. It’s beens so humid lately and you don’t want that moisture in the air (can lead to mildew). I also have Riley hang one in her dorm room closet.

The face towels are on repeat over here. They have been a game changer for my son. They don’t hold onto bacteria like a washcloth can. Great for sensitive skin and for travel.
