Good morning. This is my son’s last official week of summer. Not sure how that is even possible. Time is flying far too quickly. With senior photos checked off the list, the official senior calendar of events has begun. Here is a peek at life lately with the Monday Morning Wrap Up.
PRETTY BLOOMS
I should have been cutting a few of these each week to bring in the house. The Limelights are so pretty. Lately, I love cutting just a single bloom to put in a vase on the kitchen sink.
THE FACTORY
The Factory at Franklin is one of our favorite spots (especially while it’s so toasty out). So many wonderful restaurants and shops. And the perfect place to meet up with friends for a date night.
FORK OF THE SOUTH
Forth of the South is adorable!!! Truly the cutest spot to grab ice cream or a sweet treat. They have all of the old school candy brands, too. You can also make a reservation for tea in their Southern Tea Room or visit the Candy Martini Bar.
CUSTOM HATS | NIC & MAUDE
Nic & Maude is a new spot where you can have a custom hat made. The process is really fun to watch. We have not done it but loved watching someone have their’s customized.
SAFFIRE
We met up with friends at Saffire. Cute atmosphere and the food was great. If you go, try the cauliflower appetizer. SO GOOD. Great cocktails and mocktails, too.
BEAUTIFUL SKIES
I couldn’t get over how pretty the skies were this weekend. Picture perfect blue skies. Always so thankful for these pretty scenes.
READING RIGHT NOW
Have you read this? A friend from our bible study recommended it so I immediately bought it. Can’t wait to dive in. I just finished Broken Country. . . I cried so much in the end. Overall, I loved the book.
SO YUMMY
We just discovered that this “dip” makes an incredible salad dressing. It has the same consistency as a dressing with just enough spice for a buffalo chicken salad. Great over grilled chicken and veggies.
SUPER SOFT SWEATS
I shared these in this week’s Saturday Shopping post. These sweatpants are incredibly soft, $12, and not too heavy. The sweatshirt is super soft as well.
Riley and I are off to do a little bit of back to school shopping. So excited to spend the morning with my girl. Wishing you a wonderful start to the week.
