Monday Morning Wrap Up

November 3, 2025 by Courtney 2 Comments

Good morning! Can you believe it’s the first week of November. How did that happen? I busy working away on gift guides which should start rolling out this week. Have you begun decorating yet? We have not but I will probably flirt with that next week. It’s our favorite time of the year so why not enjoy the merriment for as long as possible. Here is a look back with the Monday Morning Wrap Up.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

football

There is nothing like a hometown football game. Love the energy and the hype. Just hard to believe this is our last year as parents of a high schooler. So odd when we are still 25 😉 While the game was a blast, it did happen to be 46° which was really chilly. It’s time to put away all of the summer clothes and unpack my sweaters and coats!

FALL DAYS

fall backyard

The fall temps this weekend were beautiful and with the leaves changing I love spending time in our backyard. Just wish I could freeze time in this season. Did you have a nice Halloween? We kicked the evening off with dear friends and then came home to hand out candy. It was a quite but lovely night.

NEW SPOT IN FRANKLIN

culinary dropout

Local or visiting? Culinary Dropout is a fun spot to listen to live music or watch a football game. The Brussel sprouts are so yummy (ask for the homemade buttermilk dressing, too).

Such a fun stage setup for the live music. And I’m in love with the dining chairs that are upholstered in a red houndstooth fabric. So pretty.

FLOWER DILEMMA

yard flowers

Ok, my friends. Help me out here. I’ve been told it’s time to rip up my flowers and plant the pansies (because they can withstand the freeze and snow of winter). But how do I rip these up when they still look so pretty. Advice welcome. My torched hydrangeas are another story. I’m looking forward to cutting those back when the time is right.

TIME WITH FRIENDS

ditilery

Enjoyed spending time with friends this weekend. Always good to foster those friendships and spend an evening laughing. If you haven’t been to the Leiper’s Fork Distillery in Franklin, it’s a must. They make incredible cocktails and mocktails (food is great, too). And the live music is always great!

Great news on the hair front. For those of you who have been keeping up (or dealing with the same issue), my shedding and thinning was terrible. But when I went to Logan this time she said she sees so much baby growth and my hair feels so healthy. The shedding has stopped so now I need to be patient as it fills in. But my hair has not felt this soft and healthy in forever. I am using this system plus this detox oil (treating the scalp is paramount).

As you begin to decorate for the holidays, don’t forget about these switches. These are just on my wall with a little bit of quake hold and can be placed anywhere. We LOVE these. Anything you plug in can be then turned on by a switch you place anywhere. While the garlands are all plugged in at the top of my stairs, I can tap them on or off with this temporary switch. Our living room tree is on the other switch. They are so great. (I noticed they are currently on sale).

Looking for a good quality umbrella? We love these. They are nice and large and have a quick release button. It was raining Saturday night when were out in Downtown Franklin and this large umbrella was wonderful. We actually have three and keep them in an umbrella stand near our front door. So nice to have.

relax away on 30A

We have been working on a couple of projects for the beach house. I can’t wait to be back here. The temps are in the 70s right now. Yes, please!!!! If you book, be sure to reach out and let me know so I can pass along our favorite spots (rates are 20% off right now).

SATURDAY SHOPPING

lace top | boots | holiday heels | dress

Saturday Shopping was a fun one with plenty of holiday party looks. I also shared a $45 jacket Riley loves (I surprised her by sending it to school).

Are you still using nutrafol? Or are these products having better results?
