Good morning. Thanksgiving week sure came quickly! I can hardly believe it. I’m really looking forward to quality time with the family. We are not hosting this year so it feels a bit more relaxed. But can’t wait to celebrate with dear friends and enjoy a slower pace. Here is a recap with the Monday Morning Wrap Up.
Kicking things off with a huge dose of house inspiration. I’m not sure who to give credit to for this home, so if you know, please pass it along. This home is so lovely. I love how they have two simple wreaths . . . nothing over the top and yet so gorgeous. Hoping we get a dusting of snow this year. Always so fun around the holidays.
ADORABLE BEDDING
I popped into HomeGoods this past week and saw this bedding by Rachel Zoe. If you are wanting to makeup a Christmas bed, this is so cute. Both the plaid comforter and the tree quilt are incredibly soft. I would use both together. (The trees are in fact green despite looking really dark in the photo).
PIZZA HACK
Don’t knock it until you try it. My husband was super scared to try it and yet he loved it. The other day I was craving pizza like you wouldn’t believe so I made this to see if it would cure the craving and it did. I sliced french bread and topped it with 1/2 cup cottage cheese blended with 1/2 cup pizza sauce. Baked at 350 for about 10 minutes (until lightly browned) and topped with arugula and red pepper. SO GOOD!

I adore this set. I accidentally left this sweatshirt at our Florida place so I came home and ordered a new one immediately. It’s just so soft and cozy. And very warm. Right now both pieces are 40% off which is fantastic. Highly recommend. I am wearing a small in the top and went down one size to an XS in the bottoms.
Love this outfit for travel because it looks pulled together but is incredibly comfy.

THE RYMAN AUDITORIUM
Saturday night we hit up Nashville with some friends. We love going to concerts at The Ryman. It’s intimate and small and just has the best feel. Plus it’s walkable to the restaurants and the Food Assembly Hall.

We saw The Lone Bellow but Kaitlin Butts opened and she was fantastic. Keep an eye our for her!
I had a couple of you reach out and say how much you love this tree. I know a few of you were looking to have a second tree in the house and this one is so great. We plan to keep it undecorated and truly love the lights. It has the very best warm glow, which is hard to find these days. It’s still on sale for under $200.
I am a little ticked off I didn’t get this sale price!! This is now down to $159!! What?! Truly a joy to use. I cleaned our hardwoods yesterday and it’s sooooo easy. The floors look fantastic. I was able to do all of our hardwoods plush the upstairs hallway all on one charge. My pro tip is to self clean it and then remove all of the parts, rinse and let them dry on your counter. You want them to be nice and dry before you reassemble. Easy peasy. Probably my favorite house purchase in quite some time.

LAST YEAR
Gosh last year we had just finished the basement and hosted 26 of our friends in this space. It was such a fun way to start making memories down here. If you are local, Southern Event Rentals has the most beautiful selection of rental pieces.
FIRESIDE CHATS
Wrapped the weekend out by the fire pit. Truly so thankful we put this in. My son joined us as well and we always have the best conversations out here. And yes, my husband is in shorts as per usual. I was in sweats, a blanket and Uggs! Some things never change!
Saturday Shopping was a good one. You can get caught up here. I have so much anxious energy today because I can’t wait for Riley to get home tomorrow. I’m going to put her little Christmas tree up in her room to surprise her. And now off to make some home made goodies and pick up her favorite snacks. Moms with college kids, I know you can relate!

I keep flour tortillas for making homemade pizza – sometimes the store brought crusts are too thick for me so years ago, I started using flour tortillas. I brush it with some olive oil and fresh garlic, add whatever toppings, and bake it at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes. YUM!
