Good morning. How is everyone holding up with the craziness of May? Our birthday bonanza continued this past week and we are now headed into graduation week. So many milestones and emotions. My sister and her husband arrive this week so I can’t wait. Nothing better than getting the guest room ready for family. Here is a peek at life lately on this Monday morning.
A BEAUTIFUL SCENT

Our magnolia tree is beginning to bloom and it’s absolutely beautiful. I just adore these blooms because the scent reminds me of my grandmother. I remember wanting to hide in her magnolia trees because they blooms smelled incredible.
MEMORY LANE

In preparation for our son’s 18th birthday I went through all of the photos. It’s safe to say there were many tears shed. It just goes by so fast. I know it doesn’t feel that way when you’re in the thick of it, but it truly races by. Just so proud of this young man. He has been pure joy since day one and inspires me to be a better human. So lucky to be his mom.
I printed over 200 photos from Mpix. They are my favorite for printing photos . . . great quality.
18TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

We used that photo board for Riley’s graduation party two years ago. It was white so I painted it navy and it was perfect for displaying all of the photos. I’ll alter this setup a bit for graduation. With the birthday and graduation a week apart these items are all doing double duty. The 18 numbers were great so I decided to order the 2026 to put on the mantel with the balloon garland. They are a bit smaller and really cute.
READING RIGHT NOW

Reading this for our book club and really enjoying it. I commit to reading 20 pages each morning before picking up my phone. So far, it’s a really great read. (Gold bracelets from here).
HOMEGOODS GOODIES

I popped into Home Goods to check for lamps but was blown away by their darling paper goods right now. So many cute pieces for Memorial Day and Fourth of July. Love these so much.
CONSISTENCY

My word this year is consistency and so far so good. I’ve been dedicated to working on my nervous system (posted about what I am doing here). I’ve also been very consistent with my workouts. Right now I am lifting 4 days a week and I love it. There is no better feeling than going up in weights. If you are just starting out, definitely take it slow to avoid injury.
*I love my adjustable weights. There is a coupon for a set right now.
TOGETHER AGAIN

Nothing better than having the high school crew back from college and spending time together. The laughter around this fire pit was priceless. If you are ever debating adding a fire pit to your backyard, I would 100% recommend it. It’s a natural place for people to gather and it lends itself to the best conversations. We are so happy we invested in ours.

I noticed these Adirondack chairs are on sale right now. Such a great price. They have phenomenal reviews. I like that they are foldable. That’s a really nice feature.
THESE BAGS ARE SO CUTE

These bags are adorable. I shared them in Saturday Shopping and Riley has one that she loves. They hold so much, stay upright and are adorable. Use code: COURTNEY20 for 20% off. These make wonderful graduation gifts.
A DARLING TOP

It’s been a minute since I have loved and Amazon top. This is such a good one. It looks like something from a small boutique or Anthropologie. I wore it yesterday for a late afternoon day date and had two girls ask me about it. I especially love that the sleeves are not tight on your arms. I can’t stand when a top is tight like that. Many colors available.
A MOMENT OF QUIET

Amidst all of the busy and roller coater of emotions, I’ve been trying to take some time to myself on the porch. Even 20 minutes of quiet and listening to the birds is so helpful.
SATURDAY SHOPPING

If you missed it, Saturday Shopping was a fun one. So many pretty dresses, too.
Let’s do this, ladies. I am hitting the ground running today and savoring the sunshine before the rain rolls in to town. Make it a great Monday.
