Monday Morning Wrap Up

May 25, 2026 by Courtney 1 Comment

Good morning. What are your plans on this Memorial Day? We will be cheering on USA hockey and ND Lacrosse as we welcome friends to the house. A relaxed day that we are very grateful for. It’s been a complete whirlwind over here. Here is a peek at life lately with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.

THE CELEBRATION CONTINUES

graduation decor

Not only did our boy turn 18, but he graduated from high school as well. We’ve had so much fun celebrating. It’s been emotional to say the least. Nothing prepares you for the day you wake up and have two adult children.

*These light up numbers are really fun and an easy way to decorate.

THE BIG DAY

graduation

Always a favorite moment when they toss their caps into the air. There is something so magical about it. The graduation ceremony was so well done. Just waiting on professional photos to come back. We were very lucky that our ceremony was indoors. The rain was intense for some of the local schools who held it outside.

FAMILY TIME

It was wonderful having my sister and her husband in town. We had so much fun together. I so appreciate their support of our sweet boy. I want to be more like him when I grow up. Truly such a joy and honor to be his mom. Big things await this young man and I will always be in the front row to cheer him on.

THE HENRY

So grateful for the time with my sister. We had a fun double date to The Henry in 12 South. A great spot if you are visiting. And having fun playing around with film editing these days.

*My blue jumpsuit.

A TOUCH OF PINK

peonies

It’s peony season. The most intriguing flower. I love how they look different every single day.

RECHARGEABLE LAMP

outdoor lamp

We’ve had so much rain but last night was just beautiful. We love sitting out here. This lamp provides such a pretty warm glow. It completely transforms the feel of the space. The blue striped pillows are a great addition, too.

A closer look with the pretty pleated shade. More colors available and currently on sale.

20% OFF – FAVORITE

Riley and I both love this Glow Tour Duo. I wear a tinted moisturizer and then use this. It’s fantastic. And the entire site is 20% off (code: DIBSSUMMER) This is the brush we both use. It makes application so easy. It’s like makeup magic for those of us who like to keep it simple.

WEARING LATELY

strapless top

I shared these jeans in this week’s Saturday Shopping. They are so soft and comfortable. This top is adorable for date night (wearing a size 4). Can easily dress it up or down.

DARLING JUMPSUIT – ON SALE

I just ordered this jumpsuit and can’t wait for it to arrive. The black one is really cute, too (so many great colors . . and game day colors, too).

ON THE MENU

One of the nights my sister was hear we smoked a tri tip and served it with this dish. Delicious. Highly recommend this cookbook. I’ve made two recipes so far and both were a hit.

I always make these cookies and have them on a dish for people to help themselves. So delicious and all clean ingredients.

I have a complete blog post coming, but for those of you asking about dorm room finds for boys, I have a complete list here. I hope it’s helpful. The green and navy plaid comforter has been a best seller (easy stain release for the win).

THANK YOU

flag

We are able to enjoy this Memorial Day weekend because of the brave men and women who gave everything so that our freedoms remained. The most selfless of actions. We not only honor those individuals who sacrificed it all, but their family members who endured the loss and grief.

*If you missed Saturday Shopping get caught up here. And be the first to be notified about blog posts here.
