Good morning. I hope your week is starting off well. If you have someone going off to college you might be rounding up all of the things. We have a bit of time as Riley goes back towards the end of August. Truth be told we pretty much threw everything in an extra room we have and haven’t really looked at it since. We need to set aside a day to organize and take inventory. Here is a bit of life lately with our Monday Morning Wrap Up.
DOWNTOWN FRANKLIN

Spent some time in downtown Franklin shopping. It’s always so much fun to walk around and just enjoy the town. If you are ever here and need some recommendations don’t be afraid to reach out.
CUTE HOMEGOODS FIND

If you happen by a HomeGoods, this bowl is so pretty. It reminds me of pie crust! We have been keeping our peaches in it and it brings me joy. It’s the little things, right? And peach season is the best season.
SLOW MORNINGS

Although it is summer, I am still an early riser and love to have quiet time before the day gets started. Once an ocean child, always an ocean child and looking forward to a trip to California soon.
WALKING PAD CHRONICLES

I can’t tell you how many of you have reached out and said this walking pad has changed your life. Me too!!! Truly. I LOVE being able to hop on this first thing in the morning and get my steps in. I also hop on it right after dinner for 5-10 minutes which is great for blood sugar levels. This is very low profile and nothing fancy but it has changed my days and I love it. And I am always a proponent of walking in the fresh air but this is great for when it’s raining and too warm outside. Plus our neighborhood is very hilly (a great workout) but sometimes I want steps without getting sweaty.
LAUNDRY ROOM PROGRESS

I’m so excited to finally be working on our laundry room! It’s only taken us five years. We had initially started it and had some setbacks. Then it fell to the bottom of the list. This weekend we began assembling the cabinets and love how they are coming together. My husband has been assembling the boxes while I make the drawers and so far so good. I’m excited about the overall design of the room and my heart is always happy when we are workin on a project.
CUTE SUMMER DRESS

I popped into Altar’d State the other day and was shocked at how many darling dresses they have. This one comes in 2-3 colors. I went up to a size medium (usually a small). I like that it’s long (I’m 5’7″ for reference).
WORDS OF WISDOM

I need to get back to writing my newsletter. I came across this and thought it was so beautiful. I’ve shared this with my children, too.
A FAN FAVORITE

This vest was a favorite from this week’s Saturday Shopping. The cut and fit are fantastic. I like it because it doesn’t show the area under my arm I don’t love. I wear a 4 in this and it’s on sale. Great quality.
If you missed Saturday Shopping, you can get caught up here. I found a console table for under $200 and it looks like something from Arhaus.
I also opened up more about connection and friendship. If you would like to read that post, you can find it here. Here is to a productive and great Monday.

Good morning! Did I completely miss the laundry room details? The drawers look great. Where were you able to source them from?
I absolutely love the those words of wisdom you shared. 100%.
