Good morning! I know it’s not Monday, but we just arrived home from our time on 30A so I thought I would share a little bit of the trip. It was the best way to cap our summer and spend time together before the college packing begins. If you ever get a chance to visit this special place, I am always happy to answer questions. It has our heart and I feel so grateful for the time spent there this past week.
SOAKING UP SUMMER

It was really nice to sneak in a trip at the end of summer. The family time was really special. In fact, I didn’t want it to end. Relaxed beach days and no set schedule! Good for the soul. If you are not familiar with the area, 30A is a highway the runs along the Emerald Coast in Florida. It’s made up of quaint little towns all with their own personalities.
GOLF CART COFFEE RUNS

Every morning the kids went on a long walk and Ryan and I took the golf cart to a local coffee spot. Beachy Bean Co. isn’t far from our place and it’s so nice to sit outside. It is on the same property as the Old Florida Fish House which is a place we never miss while here (make a reservation). The coffees shop turns into a wine bar in the evenings which is fun.

This cute Moke was parked outside. It perfectly reflects the feel of 30A – joyful and happy!
BEACH DAYS

We were blessed with incredible weather. There is no filter on this photo. While it was warm, there was a breeze every day and it made being on the sand so nice. Our place has all of the beach gear you would need so it makes it really easy. Riley could sit under the sun for hours (and does) but the rest of us love sitting under the umbrellas. The water is incredible so we all spent tons of time in the waves. Snuck in some boogie boarding as well. We take the golf cart to the beach (about 2-3 minute ride) and there is always parking available.
RILEY’S PICK

This is Riley’s favorite bag. She was never without it. And take note of the water bottle laying down!!! I was so envious. Mine spills and can’t do that. She LOVES this water bottle and says it’s the only way to go. These bags are 20% off with my code: COURTNEY20. A great gift idea!

It’s called the Emerald Coast for a reason. This water is just so stunning.
RESORT STYLE POOL

The other perk is the resort style pool in our neighborhood. So nice for families with young children. Plus there are a couple of really nice BBQs so it’s easy to grill when you are there.
FONVILLE PRESS

Alys Beach is nearby and we love Fonville Press. We also recommend Oku Sushi and Citizen. Both favorites of ours. We also cooked a few meals which was wonderful. We brought a cooler with protein and a few salad kits. It was so nice to come back from the beach, shower and cook a home cooked meal (the kitchen is fully stocked with all essentials).
WHAT I WORE

I finally got smart and realized that when I travel it’s best to stick to 2-3 colors. This time around everything I took was in the blue and white family and I could mix and match all of it throughout the week. This set is a splurge but so cute. The shorts have a higher cut in the back (on the waist) which is genius. When you sit down you don’t lose your shorts! The perfect set for after the beach or for doing a coffee run. I also traveled home in this because it’s so comfy.
*I found this set on Amazon and it has a similar feel.

Have you heard of Sue Sartor? This is a new brand for me. All hand made, small batch dresses. They are truly beautiful. This particular cut is called the Flounce Mini and you can see them all here. This is the exact dress I am wearing. These dresses are beautifully made and very flattering. You know I am a Target girl but I will recommend a splurge when it’s really well done. These dresses are something special.
DOUBLE DATE

Meeting up with this gem of a human was another highlight of our trip. Vanessa is such a special person in my life and we loved having a double date with our husbands.
- sunglasses
- clutch – carry every time I travel
- striped top

Highly recommend this area for couples, too. There are just so many fantastic restaurants and places to explore. We never miss a sunset on the beach and love our morning walks.
LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN

It was hard to leave but it’s always nice to return home. Having adult children is such a different stage in life so we are beyond grateful for this time together and the memories made. We love this area so much and it makes us happy that we can share it with all of you. If you ever book with us, be sure to reach out so I can share our tips/tricks. Our management team is top notch and we are so grateful for the great care they take in keeping our home looking like new.
HUGE FARM RIO SALE

Farm Rio is having a HUGE sale. I had a darling reader send me a photo of her wearing this blouse and it’s beautiful. I am ordering one right now for myself. It was $198 an is now $59!!! So great. She pinned it so it wasn’t so low cut and I will, too. In fact I will probably use this stitch gun which is a genius invention if you don’t already have one.

This dress is normally $280 and now $84! It’s so pretty. So many great sale pieces right now with 70% off!!!
And now it’s go-time! We are in the final countdown for all things college. We left feeling pretty unorganized so it’s time to turn the ship around. Wishing you a great start to the week. And if you have done the college drop off this past week, hang in there, mama. It gets better. I promise.
