It’s that time of year! Gosh, I have been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with you for over 12 years. Some of you have been with me that long. Where does the time go? I plan to head into the store tomorrow and can share try on photos. But I have combed through the sale and am sharing what caught my eye. I have broken it down into categories which I hope is helpful. Nothing like a little bit of retail therapy.
Pro tip: If you are shopping on the 12th, you can add things to your wishlist so you can check out easier when it’s time to shop.

This bag was the other fan favorite $148 $218. Such a great size and nice to transition to Fall.

This is a wonderful bracelet. I have a similar one and love it because it’s stretchy and goes with everything. Usually $40 but now $24. I like gifting these as well. I also thought this $40 ring set was really pretty.

It’s taking everything in me not to add these to my cart. I have so many neutral sneakers. But if you don’t and have been wanting a pair. These are so cute $149 $250

These pajamas $42 $65 remind me so much of the Lake jammies that are very pricey. Loving the pinstripe this year. They also come in a long pants version.

This is my go-to bra (only one I wear) and I only buy it during the anniversary sale $29 $49.
BOOTS AND BOOTIES

I ordered these and can’t wait for them to arrive. I think they will look great with denim (like you have a full cowboy boot on) and fun with dresses.

The New Balance would be my pick. I have them and wear them all the time. Click on a sneaker

I think these will go quickly because they are marked down to $59. I love the color combination for fall.

The most comfortable sneakers! My whole family loves these. I really like this color $109 $150.

Hi Courtney!
Thanks for the great Nordstrom picks. I’m eyeing a few things, including the peacoat.👍🏻
You mentioned peach cobbler. This is the recipe I use…very good! If you look at the end of the recipe you’ll see a variation for peaches.
Apple Crisp
(Serves 8-10)
7-8 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into large chunks
1 cup dried cranberries (optional, but good!)
2 T. lemon juice
1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup plus 2 T. light brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
10 T. cold butter, diced
Optional: 1 cup pecans (or walnuts), lightly toasted and coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 375.
In a large bowl, toss the apples, lemon juice and sugar until mixture is well combined.
In a small bowl, stir together the flour, brown sugar, oats, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. With food processor or pastry blender, cut in/pulse the butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in nuts.
Spread the apple mixture in greased baking dish. The fruit should be about 2 to 2 1/2 inches deep.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over apples. Bake the crisp for about 55 minutes or until bubbling and top is golden.
Variation: For Peach Crisp filling, use about 4 lbs. (7 or 8 large), peeled peaches cut into 1/2-inch wedges, 2 T. flour, 2 T. lemon juice and 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar. Topping ingredients are the same as for Apple Crisp. Spread peach mixture in greased baking dish (I use an oval dish that’s approximately 10 ½ x 8 ½ x 3 – fruit should be 2 to 2 1/2 inches deep). Sprinkle the topping evenly on top. Bake at 375 for about 45-55 minutes or until bubbling and top is golden.
Note: Adding about a pint of fresh blueberries, raspberries, boysenberries or blackberries is also good.
