Nordstrom Sneak Peek - A Thoughtful Place

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has officially started. I’ve gathered together the pieces I think are worth a look. Every year I try to stick to classic pieces and things that will genuinely save you money. I’m kicking it off with the selections that caught my eye.

I’m not a huge fan of the dress selection but do really like this denim dress. A brand that always gets it right.

I only buy these on sale and can honestly say they are great. Incredibly soft and hold up so well. I’ve had one of my pairs for a good 4-5 years now. Riley loves these, too.

THREE BAGS IN ONE

I think this is really pretty. A nice size to hold everything and the best part is that it can be a shoulder bag or crossbody. But you can also remove the strap and it’s a clutch. So essentially it’s 3 bags in one.

In person, this bag is beautiful. It also comes in black.

This purse is prettier in person than online and not as deep as I thought. A really pretty handbag.

I genuinely really like the coat selection this year. I always lean towards the classic style. My daughter has her eye on the jean jacket for school.

I really like this coat. It’s definitely on my wishlist and has multiple color options. I like this version as it looks great with both brown and black. Very classic. Size up.

This North Face jacket has been a best seller so far. Water repellent and machine washable!

SO PRETTY

This faux fur coat is a splurge but it sure is darling. The back has a flattering cut. This is something I could see myself wearing quite a bit in the winter months. This is the year I may buy two great pieces rather than a handful of things I don’t really need.

BOUGHT FOR RILEY

I ordered this jean jacket for Riley (it’s darker in person) for her to take back to school with her.

ONE: super cute drawstring denim
TWO: a great length boyfriend jean
THREE: Favorite Daughter – these are really cute
FOUR: Paige are always a safe bet, such a good fit
FIVE: I really like this brand, perfect reviews

I have a pair of Pistola jeans and I adore them. Very soft and such a fantastic fit. These have perfect reviews which is rare. I would definitely consider these if you are in the market for denim.

This is how they looked on me. LOVE the wash. I am wearing the 26. And this sweater is adorable!! It’s oversized on its own so go with your normal size. This is an XS. It comes in two other pretty colors.

These jeans will sell out quickly. A great pair of Mother jeans and almost $100 off.

This Madewell sweater is really cute. It comes in two different colors.

CASHMERE ON SALE

Some of my favorite wardrobe staples are my cashmere pieces. This is a great classic piece (many color options). I really like the baby blue color it comes in.

TRIED AND TRUE

I bought these booties last year and love them. They are so cute with denim. So happy to see them part of the sale.

These are very pretty. The heel isn’t to high and a nice price point. This type of heel goes with everything.

I ORDERED THESE

I did order these for myself. I don’t have anything like them and I know I will get a lot of use out of them in the fall and winter. They definitely dress up a pair of denim.

A BODY BUTTER I LOVE

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is when I stock up on Osea body butter. It’s incredible. Highly recommend.

If you haven’t tried this sunscreen yet, now is a great time. You can’t even feel that it’s on you. It’s a dream. I always stock up for our beach trips.

These are the only makeup brushes I use and they are fantastic. Truly makes a huge difference when you use quality brushes. Great price right now.

We continue to love the Our Place pieces we have. This set is more than $100 off. And this color is great! The air fryer is also on sale and one of the cleanest options on the market.
