Protein Packed Ranch Dressing

February 5, 2025 by Courtney 4 Comments

When it comes to salad dressings, I like to make my own. It really never takes more than 5 minutes and you know you have a dressing without questionable ingredients. I am also the girl that would be fine with just a bit of olive oil on my salad but every now and again I crave a creamy ranch dressing. This one comes together in no time, is packed with protein, and is wonderful as a dip, too.

HOMEMADE RANCH DRESSING

I love fresh chives in this recipe but you can also use dried. Just promise me you’ll try it with fresh, too.

Protein Packed Ranch Dressing

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cottage cheese (I like Good Culture)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsp milk (depending on desired consistency)
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives
  • 2 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp dried parsely
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper (I do a couple cracks of peppper)
  • juice 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender.

  2. Store in a mason jar in the fridge for the week.

I love to keep mine on the thicker side (still tosses well in a salad) so that I can use it as a dip, too. You can always add more milk for a thinner consistency.

SO yummy! Love this with fresh chopped veggies as an afternoon snack. And as a girl who never loved cottage cheese, this is scrumptious.

Check back soon as I’ll be sharing how I prep salads for the week with these jars.

I usually make mine on Monday and it’s gone by Friday. But one full week shouldn’t be a problem πŸ™‚
