Morning!! I’ve been posting less on the blog only because it’s summer and I am trying to soak in the time before the kids are back in school. I can’t believe my son starts his senior year this week. Luckily, I still have a couple of more weeks before Riley heads back to school. We are beyond grateful for cooler temps this morning. A great way to kick off the weekend. That and a little dose of Saturday Shopping. Thanks for joining me.
CAMO PANTS FOR THE WIN
Ok, girls. You have to believe me on these camo pants. They are sooooo cute. The fit is wonderful and they are $17. The back has elastic which is really nice. I love the length and the cargo style. And today is cool enough I get to actually wear them out and about. These will be a fall staple. I can’t get over the price. The white tee is so soft and has a fantastic fit. I also bought it in black.
Still can’t get over how comfy this set is. So soft and washes like a dream. Great for travel days. The entire sweatsuit is $22!! The top and bottom are sold separately. *Much cuter in person than the online photos.
SOCIAL THREADS
The fall line dropped at Social Threads and it’s all really cute!!! I LOVE this green top.
This navy romper caught my eye. Really cute. And they just release a line of campus sweaters that are so darn cute.
J.CREW FACTORY
I had a few questions about the dress Riley was wearing in the J.Crew Factory reel. It’s darling and on sale for $39.
ANTHRO DRESSES
A favorite dress. It’s so great because it really can be worn far into fall.
Also spotted this dress and really like it. A great dress to take you into fall … wear with booties or boots once the temps drop.
TARGET FINDS
We are still working on Riley’s apartment for next year so I took a stroll through Target. She wasn’t with me and every photo I sent she said, “That’s not my favorite!” Sometimes I nail it and sometimes I straight up fail. But I did want to share this lamp again. I think the shade is so cute.
And I love these blue pillows. The color is so pretty. Plus they are reversible. The oval artwork is also really lovely. The shape of the frame and detail on the matting are really pretty.
Spotted this, too. Such a cute dress. I love these for the hot summer months. So easy and comes in other colors.
NEUTRAL RUGS
I’m on the hunt for a more neutral rug for our dining area. I love the one we have but it reads cranberry and after 4 years I am ready to switch it up. This one is really pretty.
This is the Tawny Birch color way but it comes in a couple of more options and is so pretty.
DEAL OF THE DAY
Ok, ladies. I think this is the one I am leaning towards and if you are in the market for the 7 x 9 size, it’s now $120!!! What???? I wish I could order that size. That is an incredible deal if you are looking for a pretty neutral rug. I actually would love to see this in my living room or dining room. Such a good one.

What I love most is the color (Classic Talc Linen) and the height of the headboard. The nightstands are another favorite of mine.
COLLEGE PREP
It’s almost move in time for most college students!! If you want to see our tried and true dorm finds, you can check them out here. All things Riley loved and found really useful. This cabinet was from a local store in Oxford, MS.
My daughter will have a larger bed this year (cue the disappointment at having to buy new bedding and toppers). So we just ordered the foam topper and mattress pad again. If you need a twin XL mattress pad it’s on sale this weekend. Highly recommend.
This may sound random, but a sleep mask is a good idea. I know Riley tried to take naps and this was key. I have been using this exact same one for two weeks now and LOVE it. I have never slept with one and wow. . . it’s life changing. They say it’s healthier to sleep with full blackout and I can say I definitely sleep more soundly with this mask on.
My husband prefers this one because there is more room for eye movement. He swears by it.
And while totally unnecessary, we did buy these cute sconces for her apartment. They will hang beside the artwork we are putting over her bed. Because they are battery operated you can put them anywhere. I am considering them for my laundry room.
We also bought one of these for Riley this year. I did, too. It’s genius. It adds a tiny removable stitch to anything. I bought a blouse the other day and I don’t love how the collar stays closed. With this, I can easily open the color and secure it with a stitch. I also used it on my blazer the other day so the sleeves would stay up. GENIOUS PRODUCT. I will be hemming Riley’s curtains in her apartment with this.
RELAX AWAY ON 30A
We are excited to be planning our next stay on 30A. I have been craving time down there. If you book our place, be sure to shoot me an email so I can share some tips/favorites with you. We are working on something fun right now that we will be adding to the house.

Hello, I wanted to tell you about my eye mask experiences. I have used them for years and love them. I have my version of a good eye mask. It’s a combination of the one you use and the one your husband uses. I have a large head for a woman (yes, it’s true) my husband and I laugh about it all the time so an eye mask with elastic around the head is uncomfortable for me especially around my ears. So I created a wrap around eye mask and eye cups for the eye area. The eye cups became very important for me because when I used the plain eye masks without the eye cups I developed an eye stye. Can’t tell you how horrible an eye stye is but you can imagine. I have 2 sets so when I’m wearing one the other is in the wash in a delicate garment bag. Hope this was helpful.
