We are officially about one week out from moving Riley into her college apartment and I can’t believe it. You should see the status of our guest room right now. It looks like a bomb went off with pillows, bedding and decor. Yes, we may overdo things but we have so much fun in the process. Today’s Saturday Shopping consists of things I am wearing lately, items we’ve ordered and pretty things I have my eye on. Let’s get to it.
CUTEST TOP

I picked up this top when Riley and I did a shopping trip to J.Crew Factory. I’ve worn it so many times since. The color is beautiful and I really like the feminine details. I went down to an XS. I’ve been wearing the white cropped jeans on repeat, too.
LINEN BUTTON DOWN

You can’t go wrong with linen and this button down is $39. Love the light blue and white pinstripe. Looks cute with shorts and jeans.
A FAVORITE OVER HERE

I carry this tote all the time. I gave one to Riley and it’s one of her most used bags. She loves it. Yes, it’s faux leather but I looks so good!!! Highly recommend. If you want to go for the real thing, Quince has a lovely option.
SUCH A GREAT DEAL

Back again! These loafers are fantastic. Incredibly comfortable. I ordered this color for myself as they were sold out of most sizes in store. I went down a half size but most reviews said they are true to size.
BLACK LOAFERS I LOVE

These are the black ones I’ve had for almost a year and truly love them. I reach for them all the time in the fall and winter. Beyond comfy with memory foam and just so classic.
ORDERED FOR RILEY

These are the sneakers Riley wants to take to school with her. They just arrived and I wish she was accidentally leave them home. So cute!!! If between sizes, go down a half but for the most part they are true to size. The stripes are silver and the suede is more of a taupe color. This cream and white pair is also really cute.

These would be adorable for a game day if your team has light blue.

Love this color! And these lend themselves to dressing up or down.
PRETTY HANDBAG

My dear friend, who has great taste, bought this pretty handbag for a wedding she attended. She loved it so much she shared it with me. A great Bottega inspired bag but without the price tag. But this is still a quality bag and made beautifully. She gave it five stars.

Isn’t this tray darling? I have one that is pretty much identical. I picked it up at HomeGoods for $24 but this one is $13!!!! I bought one for Riley to use in her apartment next year.

Don’t sleep on these stems. Three of them are $36. I love them so much I have them in our basement and kitchen. Might order a set for Riley’s apartment. The vase is a favorite as well. Such a nice large size.
PILLOW OPTIONS

These look like the high end version I have. Such a beautiful neutral print. I would pair these with a solid or striped pillow. Really pretty combination.

If you are looking for solid linen pillow covers, these have great reviews. After searching every HomeGoods multiple times with no luck, I ordered these for my daughter’s apartment. So many colors available.
ON IT’S WAY

I ended up going with this neutral rug for our dining area. After 4 years, I am letting go of the cranberry rug we’ve had. I’ve loved it but ready for something more neutral. And the colors in this go so well with my adjacent family room decor.

If you are looking for a moodier rug, we adore this one. I like it so much I have it in my closet, too. It’s incredibly soft and goes with so many colors. A great rug.

Looking for a beautiful sideboard, I love the lines and detail on this one. And this color! It comes in more colors if this is too bold.

Such a pretty tablecloth. I love using one as the whole dining experience just feels elevated and more romantic. While I LOVE this one, I have a similar one that was more budget friendly.

There is something about this art. I love it so much. There are two sizes available. Looking at this for our basement space.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is not medical advice!!! I had thrown my back out and was immobile for a couple of days. Then my bulged disc issue flared up. To get myself feeling good again I used a regimen of rest, ice, very slow walking in the house, red light therapy, and the TENS unit (my number one go-to). I also did very slow and careful stretching. I tried to move as much as my body could handle and it increased each day. Once I could walk standing straight I used my walking pad (very slow and humbling setting). After a few days of this I was back in action. I also used the vibration plate for just about 5 minutes each day (once the muscles were beginning to relax). Many of you asked for these links so I am sharing. But please consult with your doctor.
RED LIGHT THERAPY

We love our red light therapy around here. Incredible for healing, skin, mood and inflammation. Really great for cramps if suffer with those.

This week on the blog, I shared a step by step tutorial for how we made this oversized artwork.
Off to wash bedding and try to make heads or tails of the college piles. Feeling a bit overwhelmed but I also know it will all get done . . .it always does. Have a wonderful weekend. I hope you get some down time with the people you love.
Hi Courtney! Can you add the link for the striped linen shirt? I have been looking for one exactly like this. Thanks!!
Oh my goodness. So sorry. Just fixed it and emailed you. Thank you for letting me know it was missing.
