Happy Memorial Day weekend, everyone. This snuck up on me as I honestly can’t believe the school year is so close to winding down. Are you in the same boat? When do your children get out for the summer? We are hoping and praying our sun stays out for the weekend. It has been so dreary and gray and I am realizing it affects my  mood more than I ever knew. With the Half-Yearly Sale upon us there are so many great deals. I thought these were all darling for summer. The handbag is one of my go-to styles. I have it in the mint green. And you can’t beat the sandals which are marked down to $39.

The Kendra Scott earrings are such a great deal and I love this hat. If you have been eyeing a pretty handbag, now is the time with the sale. I always take my large straw tote to the pool or beach with our towels in it. The stripes are so fun.

In fact they are right about fast shipping as its already on its way. The chandelier I have been drooling over is on sale. It’s so gorgeous. A nice time to consider Open Kitchen. It’s the WS line of affordable everyday dishes. We LOVE their bowls. I have 12 of them for when we host holidays and I serve soup. Plus the children use them for cereal daily. Great purchase.

Not gonna lie, it feels very strange not to be calling my parents to see if they want to come over. Miss my dad every day and trying to adjust to our new life. Many of you have asked about how I handle my grief. I could write books on that but the biggest secret I’ve learned is honoring my need to be with my family of four right now. Excited to watch my son play hockey today and enjoy time together.
