Happy Saturday, friends! We are in full party mode over here as we are hosting tonight and ready to relax and unwind with friends. We have a very small cozy home but that has never stopped us from entertaining. I think we all get caught up in wishing we had a grander space, but when push comes to shove it’s the memories from past parties over the years that make us smile the most. And packing people in like sardines just brings them that much closer together, right?! In any event, we are looking forward to it. Wanted to share a few finds from the Nordstrom sale that made their way home with me. I am really big on trying things on and feeling them before I recommend and these are some of those items.
Do you remember this sweater from last year? I was happy to see that brought it back. But a little bummed they ditched the elbow patches. Having said that, it is a darling sweater. I bought a size medium in the powder blue. I will show you it soon. I have already paired it with white jeans and these booties. It’s also really really cute for these warmer months with white shorts.
This sweater goes back up to $38 after the sale. It looks cute with this $20 crossbody bag, my favorite dark jeans, and these booties. A very classic look.
Oh, hello, darling striped sweater! I ordered the one on the left! I love a good preppy, stripe and this one fits the bill.

If you hang out on Instagram, you may have already seen this darling little number. Love the colors and it looks so cute with distressed denim. I came home with a large but would have preferred a medium. They were already sold out in store so I went with the large. It does run a bit small.
And because it is still summer, I was so thrilled to see some tanks in store. I am in love with this. It is sooooo cute on and really flattering. I am a sucker for lace trim and the colors are so pretty. I bought a medium. The small was just a tad to snug on me up top. You could easily wear just a simple bandeau bra with this.
My store didn’t carry this version but I love the warmer tones of this one. Would look great with a pair of white jeans and a denim jacket.
