Good morning. With Christmas just a few days away I wanted to share an easy dessert idea that you can pull off for any party. My favorite dessert hack is to hit up the grocery store bakery for cupcakes and then elevate them with something pretty. This time of year, I like to add sugared cranberries and rosemary. I can remember my mom sugaring the cranberries when I was little and I always loved the look. For warmer months, raspberries and mint look perfect on top.
CRANBERRY CUPCAKES
These are so simple but really make a pretty impact for a holiday party. Of course if you are a baker, then making your own cupcakes is wonderful. I like to keep it simple and quick (especially if I am hosting) so Publix cupcakes it is. They are scrumptious. Just ask your bakery for vanilla cupcakes with white frosting. I usually ask right when I go in and they have them ready by the time I am ready to check out. So convenient and easy.
You can sugar your cranberries and rosemary the day before or same day (just allow for a couple of hours . . . all hands off time). It really is simple and after doing it once, you’ll be hooked.

*Things to note:
You can make the cranberries the day before. Just store in a glass container on the countertop. If they appear moist, roll them through more sugar to freshen them up!
