How was our week? Ours flew by which is definitely a trend these days. Did you see our Knoxville wrap up? I shared what we did in 24 hours. As for the weekend, we are hoping to knock out a couple of simple projects and enjoy time outside. Looking forward to celebrating my husband, too. Today I partnered with Walmart to share a couple of summer looks. Both are looks I truly love and pieces I have been wearing on repeat. Let’s jump right in.
SWEATER SET AND SKIRT
You know those outfits you order online and think, “I don’t know about this.” Well this darling sweater set($40) and skirt ($25) did not disappoint. I LOVE it. It also comes in black and is so pretty in person. I love the way it moves when you walk and the skirt is lined until above the knee so definitely not see through. Such a pretty look for a shower, summer luncheon or evening out. Would be pretty with these braided heels.
I have also paired the skirt with a white t-shirt and sneakers and the sweater set with white shorts. All really cute looks. This periwinkle color is beautiful next to crisp white for summer. If you are in between sizes on the top I would recommend sizing up. The skirt is true to size. The tank is cropped so you can button the cardigan as an option. The entire look is from Walmart and comes in around $65.

SUMMER LOOK ON REPEAT
No surprise I always go back to the basics. I love a comfy pair of denim shorts($20) and a t-shirt. These are by far my favorite cut offs. I bought two pairs in case something happens to one. Crazy, I know, but when you love a pair it just makes sense. They are true to size (in a size 2) but size up if you like them a bit baggy or blessed with pretty curves. I have been living in these shorts. I lay mine flat to dry, just FYI.
BACK TO BASICS
Keeping it neutral but with plenty of texture (same way I like to decorate). The crossbody bag ($15) has two zippers and is large enough to fit a small wallet, phone, sunglasses and my readers (yes, I need them all the time). I just thought the strap was so darn cute.
DARLING BUCKLE SANDALS
These buckle sandals ($30) are darling in person. Ignore the dark spot (from the camera). They are true to size. I was worried as soon as I put them on (a bit stiff) but pleasantly surprised that they loosened up very quickly. So cute for a summer vacation and easy to pack. Plus they go with everything.
These t-shirts ($15) come in a two pack and are great for summer. Nice and lightweight (just be sure to wear a nude bra under the white one). Wearing a size small. If you like them oversized, be sure to size up one. I also have the navy striped one which is darn cute.
What is your plan for the weekend? I hope you get to celebrate the special fathers in your life. I will definitely be missing mine for sure but so thankful for the example he set. See you back here for Saturday Shopping, my friends.

Love the clothes you pick! I have read several of your posts on self-tanning and I have a question. How do you get your feet and hands so brown with the self-tanner. Most of the time, tanners don’t do well on feet and hands as we all have those creases in the skin around our knuckles. How do you achieve such a perfect look on your hands and feet?
