I hope your week has gone really well. We are basking in the excitement and anticipation of the college send off. While most of the house looks like a bomb went off, I’ve been trying to stay on top of the kitchen. It serves as a sacred place to prep meals and ultimately host the majority of our conversations. I realize a deep clean lasts for maybe 30 minutes but I’ll take it. And while it was clean, I snapped a couple of photos of the three little things bringing joy into this space.
ONE | THIS LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE
Of course this lamp can be placed anywhere but it far exceeded my expectations. I am in love with it. The lamp shade is so good. It’s a beautiful fluted oatmeal color with a nice texture. I honestly can’t believe it’s $20. It gets five stars from me.
I love that it fits so well on a kitchen counter. In the evening, it’s so nice to only turn this light on. It gives the kitchen such a warm and cozy glow (which I struggled to capture on camera). But trust me, it’s a darling lamp.
The lamp is part of the new Hearth & Hand collection and it really is a good one. Here are a few more that caught my eye (all linked here). In person, the dresser is next level good. If I had a spot I would buy it in a heartbeat.
TWO | STATEMENT VASE
The jug I usually have on my island is sold out and I’m asked about it regularly. I was so thrilled to find this vase. It has a similar feel with the ample size and texture. The teracotta is washed with a white paint to give it this subtle, warm coloring. It’s better in person. Great on an entry table or console, too. It definitely is a beautiful statement piece. I have these stems in two different rooms now because they are just that good.
Here is the vase outside. I just love the shape and size so much. You can see more of this space in this post. The ruffle table cloth is so pretty.
THREE | VINTAGE INSPIRED GLASSES
I am a sucker for these vintage inspired glasses. Not sure why they bring so much joy, but they do. And I really like having them out on the open shelves. The Noteworthy cookbook belonged to my mom and I appreciate seeing it every day.
And there you have it. Three little things I’m loving in our kitchen. If you have any questions about our kitchen layout or measurements I’ve answered them here. And ten things we are so happy we included can be found in this post. Hope that is helpful.
