I shared about a great deal on garland in stories yesterday and had so many questions about my outfit. It’s one I reach for over and over so I thought I would share the details here. All classic pieces that will never go out of style.
A GO-TO CLASSIC LOOK
Dark jeans and a black turtleneck are a go-to classic combo for me. If you go out and other people are more dressed up, you still feel chic and pulled together. And if you show up dressier than the crew, it doesn’t feel over the top. It’s just a really versatile look and one I always take when I travel.
These jeans are incredible. Of all the denim I own (and some I spent a lot of money on) this is the pair I grab the most right now. The fit is fantastic (especially in the booty) and they just feel good. They are $25 which is crazy. I am wearing the Marquis color.
The belt is another great piece ($13) to own because it’s reversible. The other side of this one is brown.
I’ve worn my black crossbody for years. If you don’t have one, I’ve linked some below. This is the updated version of mine. It will never go out of style.
Speaking of travel, I just took this outfit when we went to ND and I paired it with this plaid coat. I am huge fan of the Chelsea boot for this time of year. Also a good one to travel with because they are so comfortable. I’ve had my coat for a few years, but this one is similar. I also like this Ralph Lauren version.
A BLACK TURTLENECK
I love a basic black turtleneck. I have had mine for years. It is ribbed so it has a bit more structure to it (not a lightweight cotton). Because mine is no longer sold, I’ve rounded up a few more great options.

While this isn’t a turtleneck, it has the puffy shoulder like my turtleneck. I like that feminine detail.

This is a gorgeous purse that will always remain classic. Chanel vibes without the price tag.

This might be the deal of the day. This pretty handbag has great reviews and is under $30.
Lastly, while not a crossbody I am loving this bag. So pretty with the gold chain.
OLD NAVY SALE
When I was looking for turtleneck options I stumbled upon the Old Navy sale. Everything is 50% off the original price with code: GIFTY. I actually will do a little bit of Christmas shopping for the kids.
Riley has this in a bright yellow and she loves it. I may have to order one of these as a Christmas gift.
And I love this color for myself. It looks so much like the Free People one but this is now $25.
So good. This reminds me of the Lululemon one I have. But I prefer this price!

This is so nice to have to throw over workout clothes or wear around the house. It’s always nice to have a cozy layer that isn’t too bulky.

This looks so much like my Travis Matthews jacket but this is $30! I like how it’s not too puffy.

MATCHING PAJAMAS
I always buy matching jammies for Riley and me. These are super cute and 50% off.
You can wear these year round which is nice.
I ordered this hoodie ($23) for my son. He loves a hoodie but when they are a slimmer fit like this you can wear it for things that are a bit dressier. It just looks slightly less casual.
Can you all believe we are ten weeks out from Christmas? I don’t know about you but I am ready for the holiday season. Bring on the merriment. I want to start shopping early this year (I tend to fail at that each year) so I can fully enjoy Riley being home from school during the break. These fall days are making me even more excited for the upcoming weeks. Have a wonderful Friday.
