Good morning! Today’s post is a little bit of everything. I have a few great sale finds for you (things I’ve ordered) and an update on our guest bedroom project. I am not sure why I decided to overhaul our guest bedroom at the same time we are remodeling our laundry room, but here we are. Apparently I thrive on chaos.
A FEMININE OFFICE

A sweet reader reached out asking for my help with ideas for a feminine office. She has waited years for a space of her own so I put this together. I adore this writing desk. So pretty. The shades on these lamps are beautiful. I think this chair is so chic. You still get the function of an office chair but it’s so beautiful with the caning on it.

This rug is washable!!! And a great price. This rug would be pretty in a home office, nursery or any girl’s room. LOVE the colors so much.
BEAUTIFUL ART SET

If you struggle pulling art walls together, this set makes it so easy. Gorgeous colors to pull from.

Love the idea of incorporating these, too. They are $20! So great for the holidays down the middle of your table.
GUEST BEDROOM PROGRESS

You may remember that this room had twin beds in it for five years. We loved the setup and the beds, but it was time for this room to grow up a bit. The basement is a nice place for guests to stay with a bathroom and mini kitchen area. Because of that, we thought a king bed would work really well.
This is the bed we went with and we are SO HAPPY with it. I wasn’t sure how it would go but Ryan said it was really easy to put together (using a drill not the little wrench) and it’s extremely solid. He said it’s the most solid bed he’s put together which was really nice to hear. Ours is the ivory canvas. It’s much more of an off white than it is a beige or ivory. The price is fantastic so this was a win!

We’ve always said we would rather invest more in the mattress than the bed itself. It’s so important for good sleep. Our guests won’t want to leave. This is beyond comfortable. We went with the Midnight (20% off). which is a medium firmness level. If you prefer firm, this is what I would recommend.
*They offer a 365 night trial so you really can’t lose if you want to give it a try.
SHOES ON SALE | FRIENDS30

The Toms sale right now is so great. Their shoes are comfortable and adorable. I ordered this snakeskin mule ($49). I wear so many solids that I thought these would be great for fall. I really like them in black, too.

So excited about these. Great price with code: FRIENDS30 and many colors to choose from. I went with this lighter khaki but the chocolate brown is lovely, too.
DRESSES I’VE ORDERED

We have a lot of very formal events coming up. My sweet niece is getting married and we can’t wait. The wedding is black tie so I have a floor length dress for that. But this little number is what I plan to wear to the rehearsal dinner. I love the drop waist and unexpected skirt on this (comes in solid black, too).

What? So cute. Do you remember the Walmart red dress from a couple of years ago. This is even better. I love the bow detail. If you need a holiday dress and don’t want to spend a fortune, you can feel great in this for under $40!
WALMART FINDS

These cute pants are on sale for $22! Such a fun style. They look like something from Anthropologie.

Ladies!!! I am in love with these. They arrive today so I will be sharing in stories. But I am a sucker for plaid pants. I wore my red plaid pants so often last year. I can’t wait to wear these. I like the $36 price tag.

Sooooo cute!!!! Chocolate brown plaid and $35! Yes, please. This will be so fun for fall and winter.
50% OFF BEAUTY

This is a ride or die product for Riley and me. We both don’t love wearing a lot of maekup and this is ideal. It’s perfect for adding blush and bronzer and is so easy to use. I am never ever without this. And 50% off with code: RBEAUTY is a steal!!!!! I am ordering one for both of us (and one will go in her stocking – got to be smart about these things, mamas).

The brush is key with application and I’ve had mine for years. I holds up beautifully. Also 50% off: code: RBEAUTY.

Off to meet a friend for coffee and this darling spot and then back to home projects. I hope this week has treated you well. Thank you for stopping by. If you missed our Monday Morning Wrap Up you can read it here.
