A Look for Less

Good morning! If you follow me on stories, you may have seen that I accidentally sent my entire Amazon order to my daughter’s dorm room. And I will say this is not the first time I’ve sent orders to the wrong address. Maybe one day I will learn to double and triple check the shipping address. I had just sent her an umbrella which is why her dorm address defaulted. Good times. But in that order was a fun look for less which is what we are talking about today. Let’s get to it.

Among Swiffer cloths and pillow inserts, my sweet daughter is now the lucky recipient of the sweater, handbag and sunglasses I ordered. I thought this bag was a great look for less of this one. The Madewell Bag will cost you $198 and the Amazon crescent bag is $31.

I’m not sure why she looks so unhappy. Maybe because she didn’t realize she could find the same bag on Amazon. But to be fair, there is always a quality difference so I don’t want to knock spending more if it’s an item you want to invest in and know will last for quite some time. The Madewell bag is very pretty.

THE BARN COAT

The barn coat is back and better than ever this season. I remember wearing a khaki one in college. Truly they have never gone out of style but you will be seeing a lot of it this fall. This one is gorgeous with the brass detailing. It’s $290.

I found a very similar look on Amazon for $47. No, it doesn’t have the brass details but the overall look is spot on. The quilting gives it an elevated look and it comes in other colors.

This barn coat is $35 and darling. It comes in black and dark brown as well.

LEATHER TOTE

There is nothing better than a beautiful leather tote. This one is made it Italy and of course real leather.

This beautiful Italian leather bag is $99 (saving you $200!). Really lovely.

And you now how much I love this faux leather bag of mine. I carry it all the time. This is what Riley takes to class everyday. I’m telling you . . .it’s a great bag and looks like genuine leather. I like the $30 price tag.

HOLIDAY WREATH

I have a handful of these Afloral wreaths and love them. I hang them and also put them on coffee tables with a candle or bowl of ornaments in the middle. They are $56 which isn’t too bad.

But Walmart came out with this option and already released it. Things like this go quickly which is why I wanted to share. It is $32. And if you are buying more than one, than the savings on this one starts to add up. Plus it comes with the ribbon.

*I know it’s early, but this viral Christmas tree sells out every year. If you are in the market for one this year, you may want to consider buying it early.

BEAUTIFUL BEDDING

This Pottery Barn quilt is over $200. It’s very pretty, that’s for sure. But wait until you see this option.

My friends, this one is $50!! And there are more color options than Pottery Barn. I love this and will be buying one for our guest room.

If you are looking for a good middle of the road option, this one has 5 star reviews. It’s the European Linen Cotton Stitch quilt.

GREEN BOMBER JACKET

I love a green bomber jacket. They look great with almost any fall outfit. And darling over a simple white t shirt and jeans. They are everywhere now and this one is cute. . . .but I’m not paying $400 for it.

I was, however, very happy to pay $36 for this one. It just arrived and it’s DARLING. Can’t wait to show you. It also comes in navy and pink. This will go quickly.

I’m all about investing in quality pieces when it counts. But sometimes, it’s just as great to keep money in the bank, get the look you want, and feel great about it.
