Good morning. I’ve been having some really fun conversations with you in my DMs about wanting to invest in pieces that will stand the test of time. My mom always told me that if one person has a question, there is strong likelihood that others do, too. So along those lines, if a handful of you are wanting quality pieces that will last (not fast fashion), there may be more of you and I wanted to share some really pretty options today.
CLASSIC CHOICES

This is the type of blazer you hold onto forever. Classic and goes with everything. Pretty over a plain white tee or layered with a sweater and blouse.

Nothing more classic than a fisherman’s cable knit sweater. I remember my mom wearing hers and I loved it. This never goes out of style (Free People version and Amazon version).

Love this cardigan. So timeless (similar look for less).

A great dress. So easy to dress up or down. And I love how they layered a long sleeve top under it with high boots for fall.

A pretty mini skirt is a nice option to have in your closet. So good with boots and a versatile piece for fall, especially with tights as the season gets cooler.

This handbag is gorgeous. That is all. (I did find a look alike here).

Tall boots with a midi length dress is one of my favorite looks. These boots are gorgeous.

And these over the knee boots are waterproof. So good.

Yes, please to this brown fur jacket. I like the short length on the sleeves. This type of coat looks beautiful over dresses, especially during the holiday season. There is something about the shorter sleeve that gives that Jackie O vibe.

So beautiful. I have always been a fan of a winter white coat. It’s just so pretty (budget friendly version).

This fall top is gorgeous (budget friendly option).

Everything about this. The details, colors, and embroidery. So pretty.

There is something about a Sezanne blouse. They are just so beautifully made (budget friendly version).

I know I’m supposed to be sticking to investment pieces, but I couldn’t help myself. This blouse is now $20!

A classic black handbag never goes out of style.

Such a great color. This dress would look great with a blazer, too (budget friendly look).

A classic loafer never goes out of style. Just so good. This pair is beautiful.

Hello, darling pants. The button detailing on these is perfection.

These trousers are a best seller and such a great fit. I love the buttons on the front pockets.

So classic in this camel color. A nice closet staple that look good with crisp white button downs or pretty fall sweaters. This type of pant is also really good with a bodysuit.

They also come in a cropped version.

This cashmere top (under $50) is great as a basic layering piece.

I just ordered these. I buy very few pairs of pants and know that I will get so much use out of these.

The ones above remind me of the Colette pant from Anthro that I love. These are classic and look great on everyone.
I’ve rounded up all of these higher end looks in one place. You’re welcome to shop them there. If you are looking for a specific type of piece to invest in and add to your wardrobe, let me know and I can help look. I hope this helps as you work towards building your timeless capsule wardrobe.
