Monday Morning Wrap Up

October 27, 2025 by Courtney 2 Comments

Good morning. How was your weekend? Our daughter was home for fall break so it was a great week over here. Just so thankful when everyone is under one roof. Plus it officially feels like fall with cooler temps which is so nice. Sharing life lately plus a muffin recipe you’ll want to try for this time of the year in today’s Monday Morning Wrap Up.

HANK’S COFFEE

hanks coffee

If you are local or come for a visit, Hank’s Coffee is a must. It’s not only adorable but they make the best coffee in town. It’s the type of place where the curtains were made by their grandmother. Just so charming and quaint.

hanks coffee

A favorite spot for me and my girl. And we both recommend the Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte. Delicious. We had the best time catching up. I wanted to bottle up the day. A coffee date followed up with some shopping in downtown Franklin. Miss this girl so much but so grateful she is thriving.

BRIDGESTONE ARENA

pred game

One of the nights we watched our son play hockey and the next night was spent at Bridgestone Arena watching the Preds play. Always so much fun no matter who wins.

ITALIAN ANYONE?

We let Riley choose our dinner spot and she loves Ophelia’s. It’a darling Italian restaurant with the best gallery walls in town. It is rather loud inside so just be aware of that.

ophelias

So much yumminess. We rarely go out for Italian so this was a fun treat for sure. And those blue and white plates are so pretty.

ROAD TRIP GOODIES

muffins

It was so hard to say goodbye to our girl. Luckily she’ll be back for Thanksgiving. Each time she heads off it’s such a reminder of how much she has grown up. We are so proud of her but it sure hurts the heart. I sent these pumpkin muffins with her. Delicious. I got the recipe from my friend, Michele. Riley like’s them without the chocolate chips and they are just as good.

DATE NIGHT

Ryan and I snuck in a late afternoon date night, too. Always a favorite to go early and get home to relax. Anyone else?

fire pit

And no better place to relax than by the fire with our boy. The kids had a great time with each other this past week and I know he will miss having his sister around. It’s fun to watch their relationship grow and change as they mature. And this is so typical. I am in sweats and a jacket while he is in a t-shirt and shorts. Forever and always.

TEN DOLLAR TOPS

Just a heads up these are great layering tees. I’ve worn the black one so much lately. darling alone or with a scarf and coat. Also perfect under a blazer or sweater. They are now $10!

I GIFTED MYSELF

I shared this little number on stories and so many of you responded that you know exactly how I feel because you have one, too. When my daughter walked in the house she actually asked if I had cleaned the floors. They look that good. This is life changing for me. I used to dread mopping our floors. It was so time consuming with having to dust, vacuum and mop. This does it all at once and does a fantastic job. The water you toss is so gross and we don’t even wear shoes in the house. I think the wood floors on the first floor took me all of 15 minutes and I was done. A dream. I wish I had bought this four years ago. It’s crazy to think I am actually looking forward to using it again. My how things have changed!

Off to bible study this morning with a wonderful group of women. It has been such a gift to begin the week with these ladies. Wishing you a peaceful and productive start to your week.

*If you missed Saturday Shopping it was a fun one. Get caught up here.

Definitely trying the muffin recipe! We are making Pumpkin Snickerdoodles, and I have leftover pumpkin. The muffins will work quite nicely for that.
