Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was packed with holiday fun. These days are just ticking by. I was laughing about how I wanted to be ahead of the game with shopping and I can honestly say I’ve never been so far behind. Oh well . . . we always pull it off, don’t we, ladies? Here is a snapshot of life lately with the Monday Morning Wrap Up.
A BIT OF MY MOM

This mug is one of the things I kept of my moms. Actually, Riley kept it and it’s her favorite mug to use. Now that she is away at school I’ve been using it for hot cocoa or tea and it makes me feel so close to her. My friend and I were talking about how it’s a tricky thing when you lose someone. Stuff is just stuff but I do feel a connection when I can physically touch something of hers. Do you feel that way?
FRANKLIN TREE LIGHTING

The Franklin tree lighting ceremony might be my favorite night of the year. I truly love everything about it. We went with dear friends this year and it made it all the more special. If you ever have a chance to visit, Franklin sure shines in December.
THE BEST NIGHT

I think it was 34° outside so we were definitely bundled up but loved every minute of it. So thankful to be doing life with my best friend.
OUT AND ABOUT

This weekend brought about a couple of holiday parties as well. It’s always fun to get dressed up and enjoy a night with friends. And then it’s really great to come back home and be in jammies. Am I right?
HOLIDAY PARTIES

A huge shout out to Storyboard Charcuterie who created this amazing grazing table for a party we went to. It was gorgeous.
HOT COCOA BAR

We have a couple of parties we are hosting soon and I plan to do a hot cocoa bar setup. It’s fun to make a board like this with sweet treats and toppings for the hot chocolate. Place it on some greenery and it instantly looks festive.
*The white bowls are great. I use them daily around here. And the cutting board is a good one as well.
COZY CHRISTMAS NIGHTS

I love this time of year when the Christmas lights are the only lights we have on. My son had a hockey party last night so we did a quick date night and then we were all home by 8:00. The perfect way to end a busy weekend.

I noticed these trees are on sale. We love them. Our rug is also on sale.
SATURDAY SHOPPING

In case you missed it, Saturday Shopping can be found here. It’s a fun one. I was gifted those slippers last year and LOVE them. So comfy and cute.
Off to get in a workout and then make a master to-do list. I think I need to write it all down so I will feel better and just knock out a couple of things each day. How are you with holiday prep. Here’s hoping you are in better shape than I am!
We have an outdoor hockey practice tonight for my daughter. It will be 16 degrees out, but it will probably feel like single digits. Now that’s bundle up weather. We’d love 34!
