The other day I asked my readers to weigh in on books they have loved. Our book club has been leaning towards end of life stories and we are looking for something different. Although I can confidently say that Theo of Golden is one of my all time favorite books. I’ve rounded up all of the recommendations in case you are also needing a change of pace from the sad stories.
CALLING ALL BOOK LOVERS

If you are ever in Franklin, TN you must pop into Landmark Booksellers. It’s a magical spot to get lost in a book.
*Both of our children love to read. Riley devours all things historical fiction while Grady is a nonfiction reader like his dad.
READER PICKS

Thank you to all of you who chimed in with your recommendations. There were so many that overlapped but I think I have them all here. I am currently reading The Mother in Law and loving it.
I hope this is helpful if you are looking for something that won’t leave you in tears. While I love the touching books, sometimes it’s nice to switch it up.
WHILE YOU WERE OUT
- Monday Morning Wrap Up – thank you for all of the kind comments
- Great Finds Under $100
Thanks for the list! I am currently reading Beyond Dorothy and enjoying it. I am on the hunt for my next read. I don’t read a ton (no time!). I usually get recommendations from others and grab from there, so I like the crowdsourcing.
