Good morning. How are you? Are you somewhere where it’s freezing? If so I am sending warm and cozy vibes. It felt like -3° here this morning so we might be staying in most of the day. I’ve had fun putting together today’s post. So many of the items are pieces we would buy again or things you have raved about. Let’s jump right in.
BEST OF AMAZON
FAVORITES FROM A MINIMALIST
Hands down, my favorite beauty product and I was so happy to hear that you love it, too. If you have mature skin, concealer can look rough throughout the day. This is a very light color corrector that erases dark circles (hereditary for me and very dark). Truly I can not be without this. A complete and total game changer. The other day every local store was out of it and I had to buy it in Florida when we went. Just a little tip, if you like it, consider buying two at a time like I am now doing so you don’t run out. It does last quite a while, though.

This is the brush (or type of brush) you want to use with the color corrector. Just be sure whatever you use is soft, good quality, and a slant like this so it goes on nice and smooth. I love this one.
*You can also use your ring finger to apply the color corrector . . .I just prefer a brush for my skin.
This is the only brush I will use for my tinted moisturizer. It goes on like a dream. I am a minimalist so if I am recommending a beauty product I truly love it.
As my skin ages, I am realizing less is far more. This is my go to for coverage. It’s light, goes on really well and has SPF 45. This is what I have been using for 3-4 years and highly recommend. You only need a pea size amount so this lasts a very long time.
This is the only other thing I wear and love. It’s a blush and bronzer in one and it’s fantastic. Riley also uses it. Makes putting on makeup (for those of us who don’t know what we are doing) so simple. It goes on smooth and really pretty. I use this brush for blending.
WONDERFUL SALE PRICE
This is another item that I hear back about. We have these pillows in our guest room and kids rooms (and Riley’s dorm). I took advantage of the sale, and just ordered them in the king size. So excite to get them. I sleep with a flat pillow under my head by love to hug a large pillow like this when I sleep. Anyone else? Over 200K amazing reviews.
FOR THE HOME
Looking to brighten our home during the winter season? I adore these vintage hydrangeas. They are even better in person. They are the same ones I used on my Christmas tree but I now have them in my family room.
Have you all seen this transformer table? I am blown away. A friend of ours just bough it and I went nuts over it. It can start out as round!!!! What??? I am so tempted because I LOVE a round table when it’s just our family. So much more intimate. But then it easily extends when you have company. This is an awesome piece of furniture.
We get asked about this table all the time. We really do love it. You can’t beat the price and the style looks like the high end version. You could also place two next to each other if you needed more of a large rectangle.

This vase looks just like my Pottery Barn vase but for a great price. I love my vases to have an old world/vintage feel like this.
FOR OUR GUEST ROOM
I just ordered this quilt and sham set ($45) for our guest room. We have this linen duvet in white. This is just like the Pottery Barn set with over 3K great reviews. By the way the Pottery Barn version is over $300.
SO PRACTICAL
I have been sharing these storage bins for years. They are THE BEST. This is where I store my seasonal clothes and put them up on a shelf. I also have one for each child with things we always want to keep. Can’t recommend these enough if you are getting organized during these chilly months.
RILEY LOVES
This drying rack is a DREAM. We sent it with Riley and it’s been wonderful. We actually used it all summer and I was bummed when she went back to school with it. Look how small it collapses to. Girls tend not to put a lot in the dryer when they go away to school so if you are sending one off soon, I highly recommend. Now that it’s on sale, I may buy one for us.
I had a great question about the mop I love (now 33% off). A reader wanted to know if I was using the solution it came with. I actually have been (very unlike me) probably out of laziness. It’s only a capful and is not scented. But I may switch it up. I am actually mopping our floors today (they are a mess after the snow) and I look forward to it. Best purchase in a long time, especially if you clean your own home like I do.
*Mine is the 3 but I would go with the 5 (wish I had) as it gets closer to edges and has better suction.
WELLNESS
After taking quite a few supplements I have reduced them and am still taking this. Definitely not giving any type of medical advice but sharing that this has really helped me with bloating and being regular. I also am careful about balancing my blood sugar (protein, fat and carb in every meal). I am a less is way more with supplements kind of girl.
No one one the planet wants to talk about this, but hopefully you know how important these are. Life changing. Enough said. Moving on 😉 I noticed it’s on sale.
I’ve had so many questions about my weights after posting about doing Fit with Coco. A lot of you want to begin and don’t know where to start with weights. My plan is to get back into the gym and start lifting heavy. But I absolutely can attest to working out at home with these weights works. I would recommend weights that go up to 15 lbs. Even if you are starting with body weight, you will be surprised at how quickly you gain muscle and will want to go up in weight.

EMERGENCY UPDATE
**UPDATE: My husband put this emergency preparedness list together and wrote notes under some of the items. But he will work on a complete post soon that I will publish on the blog.
And with that I am off to mop floors and then bust out a puzzle. We are laying low today and that sounds pretty good to me. My heart is with everyone who still doesn’t have power. Please check on your neighbors if you are local. It’s too cold to be without heat today and we need to look out for one another.
