Monday Morning Wrap Up

November 17, 2025 by Courtney 1 Comment

Good morning. I hope you had a really nice weekend. My husband was away so it was nice to spend one on one time with my senior. These months are flying by and I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week. Crazy how quickly it’s going. Sharing life lately with our Monday Morning Wrap Up. Thank you for being here.

SUCH BEAUTY

fall trees

These fall trees looked like a painting the other day. Just so beautiful. I always like to think of the seasons as God’s artwork.

GAME CHANGER

garland ties

I had these garland ties in my cart for weeks and finally gave in. I’m so happy I did. I’m not exaggerating when I say they are a game changer for hanging garland. And reusable year after year. Normally, it takes two of us to hold and secure the garland. I have always used zip ties which can be tricky and you can’t move them once you lock them in place.

With Ryan out of town I did all of the garland on my own because of these fabric covered ties. Genius. It was so easy to hold the garland and secure these. They are so strong and don’t move. But the nice thing is that if you change your mind or layer in another piece of garland, it’s so easy to untwist and re-twist. These are a 10/10 in my book and now a holiday decor necessity. If you want to see more of what we find helpful, I have it all here.

SO HAPPY WITH THIS TREE

christmas tree

This is another purchase I went back and forth on. But I am so happy I finally bought it. It’s GORGEOUS. It’s a really good tree, my friend. So bright and beautiful. The lighting is a warm (non LED) light and so magical. It’s easy to put together and needs just a bit of fluffing. We plan to leave this undecorated and just enjoy the lights. It’s currently still on sale.

THE RATTAN TREES

rattan trees

I snapped this before I put our tree up, but wanted to share just how cute the rattan trees are. Do you see them on my cabinet? And this is the 9′ garland we used in this space.

HOMEMADE PASTA

homemade pasts

Our son loves to cook and experiment with all types of food. Over the weekend he made us homemade pasta with a delicious chicken and pesto sauce. So good. Always fun to see what he comes up with.

ON REPEAT

candy bars

Because I started all of the Christmas decor, I had to have a little sweet treat to snack on. We can’t quit these chocolate covered date bars. Soooooo delicious.

exterior

And in huge house news, we finally did something I’ve been wanting to do for over four years!! We had our stacked stone grouted! It made a HUGE difference. It essentially removed all of the black shadows cast by stacked stone and created a much softer look. If you look at the stone by the front door compared to the grouted stone above the large window you can see the difference. We are so happy with the result. I will share more on that soon in case you are wanting to do the same.

JUST SO DARN CUTE

diffuser tree

I can’t get over how darling this train is. It’s a diffuser so it looks like steam coming up from the train. I can’t wait for mine to arrive (now on sale).

HEADS UP – GIFT IDEA

Riley loves all things Daily Drills and they are having a 30% off sale right now. She wears this yellow cardigan all the time. It also comes in a really cute navy/white stripe. I am snagging that for her. But almost everything on the site is 30% off!!!

The first time you shared the rattan trees I immediately thought what they’d look like with lights inside. Have you tried lights? They’re so cute!
