January is such a nice time to look back and reflect on the past year. On New Year’s Eve, while out to our favorite Chinese restaurant, we asked the children the three things they are most proud of for the year. It was both interesting and really sweet to hear their responses. They really centered around things they were proud of that pushed themselves. Interesting. So it made me think. And I honestly think the things I am most proud of stemmed from pushing myself out of my comfort zone. The times I was anxious, nervous or unsure but persevered anyway. It reminds me of my post a while back about Life Without Training Wheels.
And of course it’s fun to look back and gather the projects and posts that had the most impact on the blog. Today I rounded up the DIY projects as well as the posts that offered helpful tips. So here is 2015 in Review: Projects & Tips.

Your kids sound very motivated and are sweet thoughtful young people. I love that they brought up and are proud of the things they pushed themselves doing. So true that January is such a time of reflection and I’ve certainly being doing that. I need to force myself more at getting out of my comfort zone. I tend to be a little shy or fearful. I am really working on that area! Courtney, you had an amazing 2015! So productive, new experiences and challenges, lots of growth with your blog, travel and most of all filled with quality family time, love and fun! I admire you so much and you are a true inspiration to me.

I couldn’t even choose a favorite if I tried! I have to say your bathroom and son’s room stick out as among projects that blew me away, especially since you and your hubby did them yourselves! My husband and I would kill each other if we attempted those kinds of projects in our house! #kiddingnotkidding !! 🙂
